I just recently won a new Roland FR-7x and i know that they have big problems with the cord that connects the accordion to the pedals; I saw that you had a stress relief of some sort and i was wondering if you could please tell me what it is, because it looks to me like a shrink tube. Any help would be much appreciated.
For those who have not read Dick's bio, Dick was a professor of psychology for many years... and few colleagues outside his department knew of his genius on the accordion. Incidentally, Dick also has a nice repertoire of Mexican music, including Tejano. About 10 years ago, he also sat in with Santiago Jiménez, Jr. when he played on our campus -- CSU Bakersfield.
There's more: He's also a tennis pro... and a mean baseball player.
You are the best! I bought an accordion from Roland and tried to play like you. Couldn't. I've sold the accordion and listens to you on youtube instead. Thanks for sharing your music.
The Roland accordion is soooo cool.... I have one, that I play 3 to 6 hours a day, and when I get tired, I come and watch it played on You Tube! It is like a drug......LOL
Wow! This is really great. Excellent playing and orchestration. Nice quality recording too. Good dynamic range and I think the record level is optimum.
