Hey Tdub. I was working on getting my ex back and was doing quite well . But it was a LDR. We were planning on meeting up again in the coming months.
But now she has had a whirlwind romance and is getting married. She has told me and has said she wants us to remain in contact and to be 'friends'........Any advice? What can I do? Hope you can help.
By the way I have reacted to her news positively and told her I am happy for her. Please help.

Dude! I'd say don't be friends (with explanation that you like her too much, and always thought of her as more than a friend). Better luck next time! :I
