  • I thought there used to be a top comment that had the riverdance pieces listed. It's not a single piece. I believe it starts with "Scotland the Brave," but I can't remember any of the others.

  • @StillMusician I found it. Its called "Swallowtail jig. So never mind. ^^

are there piano scores available for some of improvisations (or is it not?) that Joo does, ie. not just the original classical pieces (like rach. prelude etc, those i've got for years n can do them ok-ish) but rather, the extra "hard-out" parts he adds XD would be so great to learn n do some of those ^^

  • Genius!!

  • the way he changes the piece he's playing is very well done! very natural transitions. it's fantastic!

  • oh, and i really like the transition from vivaldi's spring to massenet's meditation! he did it so smoothly.

  • may i know the song name start from 2:37 please ?

  • I actually played my bodhron to the 2nd song. It's so fun!

  • Most of the jigs and reels sound very much the same. Good freakin luck trying to find the name of the 2nd song. (it's not riverdance) The first song is Scotland the Brave.

  • imho the first song is "a little night music" by W.A.Mozart

  • Eine kleine nachtmusik

    ;D

  • I love musical comedy, I'd kill to do it but I couldn't carry a tune if it had a handle. But I can sing.

  • from 0:56 - 0:58 isn't that from the fiddler on the roof??

  • You spew insulting remarks and and hate things just because it's different and you have the nerve to tell someone else to get right with Jesus?

  • hate things??? i dont hate this i said i dont get how its funny but sorry if u were insulted peace be unto you

  • are you muslim

  • It's kinda odd when they start the dance. First he plays Scotland the Brave from, obviously, Scotland. Then he goes into Riverdance, from Ireland. I like the culture blend, and it certainly worked, I just found it odd.

  • Does anybody know the name and the composer of the second piece he plays? Thanks to eugeneang I know the rest of the compositions, but I have some problems with the second one. Can anyone help me?

  • I think it's Mozart's symphony number 40, the one that he starts playing when joo first puts down the sheet music one by one. is it that one?

  • I belive you are correct, however it is played in E Minor instead of G minor. Excellent video! I like their I will survive more however. But this is still entertaining as well.

  • I'm Irish. Riverdance is the song danced to by Michael Flatley a lot , it was the interval performance in Eurovision...1995? Everyone went mad for it.

  • funny more

  • I believe its called Riverdance. It's an Irish folktune

  • Do you know who Riverdance is by? i wanna play it really badly. Please and thank you

  • According to Wikipedia, the score was written by Bill Whelan. Hope it helps

  • Could you tell me what is the name of the song that starts at 2:36 - the one when they start dancing

    thanks in advance

  • pwhahah!! notice in the beginning wen he goes to turn the page, he licks his left hand n uses his right to turn it. xD

  • lol yeah i hadnt noticed that

  • Actually, the 1st piece is Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K525, and the 2nd piece that you mention is just a variation of the theme =)

    The rest is correct!

  • the very last one is something from riverdance, i guess..

  • @Agalh

The 2nd piece i Mozart's 40th symphony theme, not the variation of the 1st! :D

  • Thanks!

  • @eugeneang

  • ahha very creative and awesome! =]

  • Something we need and are missing! =] seriously, when was the last time you saw something like this? Huh? Tell me!

  • Oh, yes, I can tell you; it was last Monday in Stockholm, where they got standing, screaming (!) ovations and rightfully so. And when they come back, I´ll be the first to line up for tickets, I asure you. There was a hint, too,, that a DVD might be released in a near future. Let´s hope and pray..!

    Ulf K, Blidö

  • You are one absolutely lucky person, I don't mean to be selfish but, when are they going to America, yeah they are both from Europe but why can't they go here. Maybe it's the dollars value....

  • Thanks for including South Korea in Europe - we need all the land we can get our hands on, considering the rising sea level.. Well, I think you will have to wait for these gentlemen as they have their respective soloist careers to take care of as well beofre having fun as Igudesman and Joo. They seem to have their home nest so to speak in Vienna, Austria and that is a nice place to go to, too..

  • The thing is, Joo is European, he was born in the UK so I don't know about South Korea in Euurope, especially if geography is m bes subject.

  • OK, I don´t know where he is born, but he is presented as a South Korean Piano player -- bu never mind; let´s hope that he and his Russian (?!) friend will develop this art of theirs furthermore for many more to enjoy and explore. You should have been in Stockholm -- or even in Västerås..

  • I would have been there, if i knew you well enough for you to give me a 1st class ticket flying with SQ or some other very good airline! lol,

  • Unfortunately, nobody knows me that well, but I can always recommend those longing for adventures in flying to take a close look at the ex-Soviet airlines, named Aeroflot International, Aeroflot Classic, Aeroflot ABM, etc, etc. for cheap and surprising experiences all over sometimes) the world. But now, just wait for information on where and when Igudesman & Joo will pop up the next time. Maybe in a concert hall near you..??!

  • Yeah thanks alot for the info, Aeroflot, goody, i got info, all I'm missing is money lols. I just hope they come to America some day.

  • These guys are awesome. I just love this video!

  • wenissimo madre mia!!! son unos cracks!!

  • These two are awesome on so many levels.

  • why does when he turns the page, licks the thumb, but uses the other hand? LMAO

  • oh my gosh!! i didn't even realise that!! lol lol~

  • THAT WAS A PART THAT ALMOST NO ONE NOTICED BUT WAS THE FUNNIEST! Oh gosh that was hilarious man! That was so funny!

  • this is so funny im lmao!

  • lol lol ... i cant help my self ... roflol xD

  • River dancing AND playing the violin at the same time! That's talent!

  • very silly!
