Hey do you know anything about sunno s880? on this one how is the battery life. Does it lag much?

Also did you by any chance get the android dual boot on winmo?

@DawnOfEos No.. I have no experience with the S880. I have been trying to get a hold of the phone to do a review, but no luck so far. There are rumors that S880 might get an Android OS in May, but again, I can't confirm that.

@bipinsen I see, Fastcardtech or cndigit had one with both Droid and Windows mobile, it seems like it would be a great phone given the fast processor...oh well. Do you know of any other good resources to find more information on these chinese phones? They seem interesting but there is practically no information on them aside a few unbiased reviews like yours. Mostly it is just the sellers singing praises about their products and that is useless at best and deceptive all other times.

@DawnOfEos Not that I know of! That's exactly why I did these reviews to add to the information people will have before buying these phones. The S880 does look good, but I don't have spare $200 to buy and review the phone! The Ciphone has much better support. You can Google "Ciphone forum" and find support group there.

The camera's fake. It's a 3.2mp NOT a 5mp. Rest of features are ok

I agree. I purchased one of these and its terrible. The hardware always fails, i send people msgs, they dont receive them. They call and send me msgs and i never recieve them.

have you tried installing a keyboard n it?i also have a sunno phone,got it from fastcardtech but the keyboard is small so i tried installing one.tried some and the keyboards show small on the screen.any suggestion as to what keyboard is best to install.thanks

yes takes a sim card. most china phones are gsm quad band

why not, every phone uses sim cards :). If you mean if its locked or not, this phone is unlocked, every card should work.

the phone says it has a CE OS 5.2.23037 . does this has anything to do with the windows mobile 6.5? i think the chinese faked it. i dont know anythin about windows mobile, kindly explain please? cause im planning to buy this phone. thanks

@rahj8786 no - it really is WM 6.5.3. all the features that you see in that os are present in this phone. with some quirks - but the base rom is genuine.

Hi Guys

I have just bought one of this phone, but I can't get the internet and wifi to work, never mind the GPS.I can't even locate the radio! This are the main reasons why I bought this phone, so is pretty anoying really.

Can you help me to geit to connect to the internet and to use wifi? I am on Tmobile UK

hope you got the phone working. i have no idea what t-mobile uk settings would be. try out the xda forums, or check out t-mobile's website for what the settings should be. good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I have got all the settigs I want, but I can't get the radio to work.

Any idea how? And does your phone charge 100%, cause mine refused to charge fully, no matter how many hours I spent charging it.

i threw away the charger that came with the phone after a day. it did not seem to work at all. i have several other usb chargers, and those charge up the phone to 100%. you can also try leaving it connected to a computer for a day to see if the charge is complete.

radio? you mean fm radio? there is no fm radio on this phone. that was misleading in the description of the phone.

its so-so. the shutter lag is terrible. but if you can get a focus, and get the picture, the end result is ok. don't buy it for the camera, if it comes down to that.
