I love these two so much! Blood Diamond is one of my favorite Leo movies. I can't stop watching it over and over again. I love the chemistry between Archer & Maddy. You can feel it from their very first scene to their very last. My favorite scene is the one where he touches her head to make sure that she's ok. Very quick, but very sweet. Love them.

One of the coolest things in this film was that this was a great love story but the director didn't need a big kiss scene to prove this to the audience...everyone watchin knew there was chemistry between them and that there were true feelings in a hostile dangerous environment

@Niallersz you're dead on with this. So often in film you see that the production uses the sex/kiss scenes to define the actual emotions between a couple. I also felt that by NOT doing this, and developing them as characters together and seeing how they grow closer together made it seem so much more emotional and genuine.
