these car are not good for winter. the salt will ruin the frame... i've seen people drive these cars in snow... and i look under. the frame is rotted out... if u launch it. the body will twist because of the rotted frame
Ya, straight pipes on a tpi engine is bad for it. It needs back pressure. My 1991 Camaro Z28 I had before my friend wrecked it had no cats and it ran hot all the time. Unless you plan to spend a lot of money TPIs are better with stock exhaust. I like my carbed 305 84 engine better. Don't know why but it carbed vehicles are more fun for some reason to me. But damn I do miss that 350 TPI Camaro!
It's just about done I need to replace the mass airflow relay and if that doesn't solve the problem its the mass airflow sensor and then it should be food to go and just cosmetics to be done
@deathkeeper5000 haha ya it was a good deal sadly he was hit by a drunk driver the same night as the video and smashed the front end of the bird we are going to rebuild it in the summer
@flameberg8 ahhhhwww no way >_< and did you say straight pipe? while you are at it, go and get yourself a muffler.. running straight pipe means no back pressure for your engine, possibly decreasing power and fuel milage. i ran my cutty with no muffler, straight pipe for about a week and a half, sure it sounds cool but it really isent good for the engine. but hey, just some advice. good luck on the rebuild!
