Yes but they have blue/purple sharpness witch counters the affinity if it happens because blue/purple sharpness adds attack power by 1.1 or more so 10% or more damage added with sharpness

@icowa88 i hate seeing it too but when it works what does it matter i have a set that gives my rapid fire bowgun 50% affinity and it does good too i kill chameleoses with it its the final upgrade of melix ragdoll

@monsterhunter310 don't any weapons made from tigrex have negative affinity? I tend to avoid making weapons like that.. unless I can get an armor to counter that negative affinity, which I never bother.. lol

@icowa88 I use sonic bombs but my best longsword that he's weak two is the fire dragon sword plus I'm use to diablos's slow dig sow that knocks me back

@monsterhunter310 fire dragon sword??? monoblos is weak to water first, thunder second, when all else fails, go for the highest raw damage weapon you have and build a armor set that boost your attack damage by large... that combo have yet to fail me...

at least thats what I remember.. haha

but I don't seem to recall having much problem completing that mission using DS or LS,

oh yea, I used sonic bombs too. so if you plan to use them, bring materials to make more sonic bombs on the field..

@icowa88 when you fight khezu i found this out its a little different to your guide but all that changed was attacked the khezu while it did the shock attack you waited for but all i could do was jab and the attach that triangle gave after that but thats the only thing i changed it helps to get the extra attack or two in on those

@monsterhunter310 yup, you can jab at it provided you are a safe distance between yourself and the shocking khezu.. for some reason, i can never timed my distance right. maybe 3 out of 8 times i jab too close and got my balls shocked to kingdom come..

so I played safe in the vid.. heheheh

How do u make ur felyne fighter wear that samurai suit and use a long sword??? I only have a felyne fighter lvl20 and uses a large barrel hammer as i am a hammer user.

please note.. I'm playing MHP2ndG , not freedom unite.. so what i say here may not apply to the Unite version..

the cats uses either sword or hammer base on their weapon preferences, when you hire a cat, it should say, Slashing or Impact..

Slashing is for sword, Impact is hammer. so it depends what your cat prefers when you hired it.

as to the samurai outfit.. it is a downloadable content for 2ndG, i'm not sure you can get those or not in Unite..

Your Felyne Fighter uses a "strk" attack, you need a Felyne Fighter with a "slsh" attack. Hope this helped!

can i ask u something..why does me rathalos soul armor set with tigrex greaves tat give earplug skill.. doesnt work at all when the khezu scream lik a bitch at me...and..after wyvern blade verde,wad is the nex blade

there is two "types" of ear plug..

one is achieve when the earplug skill on your armor is 10 and another is 15..

you need a earplug of 15 to counter the khezu scream. hope that helps..

to the weapon.. I have no idea.. been a long while since I last touched MH.. you might wanna check out Minegarde for that apon upgrade listing..

Please note, there is two levels of earplug level.

note on my video that my ear plug is called High grade Earplug, thats the highest level you can attain for this skill...

what you got is probably just Earplug, which is one level below the one I am using.

best way to check is to see the skill points for the earplug, as you can see from my vid, i got 15, i bet yours is above 10 but lower than 15, try and get a armor with 15 for the earplug and you are good to go..

I'm playing 2ndG so now sure what those weapons preferences will be called in Unite..

but for 2ndG, it will say "Impact" for hammer and uhh, damn, i forgot for sword.. i think is "slashing"..
