  • DISLIKE! i loved that book sooo much and i thought itd turn into a movie by the way this video went...and heath ledger is so cute too...... :( i loved the video but i want the movie now!! :'(

  • @themoesandoval -- I appreciate your comments and opinions about my video, but do you really think it's FAIR to "DISLIKE" the video and to click the "dislike" button because you thought it was a movie that hasn't even been made? Then, in your comments you state that you loved the video. So, I am confused. I can understand you being disappointed in finding the video not what you thought, but to dislike it because of that is a little baffling to me, not to mention, just a bit unfair, I think

  • i love this book so much especially sense my name is keturah >.<

  • Whoops, broke the replay button :)

  • @katelynness Hi Katelynness! So sorry it's taken me so long to reply--- somehow, I previously missed your comment! Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your nice comment, and I'm very glad that you enjoyed the video enough to "replay" it a couple of times! :) (P.S. I will, however, have to charge you the repair costs for the broken button. HAHAHA!! ) Many thanks again! :)

  • Got this book last year, i looooooooove ittttttt and always will :)

  • @katelynness me too, katelynness! :)

  • Meh, i wanna know what the song is called! I feel like I've heard it before...

  • @AMVloverbri Hello AMVloverbri, the song is called "May It Be" (it's the Enya song from Lord of the Rings), but this version is done by Taliesin Orchestra. It can be found on their "Thread of Time" CD, as well as other CDs they have giving tribute to Enya's music.

  • @dra1000 Lol that explains why I was thinking, "This sounds a lot like 'May It Be.'"

  • I ADORE THIS BOOK AND EVEN THOUGH I BELIEVE THAT KETURAH SHOULD HAVE MARRIED JOHN TEMSLAND, I THINK IT WAS STILL A GOOD ENDING.... GOOD JOB ON THIS VIDEO BUT I HAVE TO ASK WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED AND WHO IS IT BY??????

  • @chocolatebookluver Hello, chocolatebookluver! Thank you so much for your comments. I think most of us thing Keturah should have married John, but as you said, it's such a good book either way. Thank you for the kind words, I'm very glad you like the video. The song is called "May It Be" (it's the Enya song from Lord of the Rings), but this version is done by Taliesin Orchestra. It can be found on their "Thread of Time" CD, as well as other CDs they have which pay tribute to Enya's music.

  • This book is so amazing. Thank you for this nice video!!

  • @daisysonnenblume I agree, this is an amazing story! You are very welcome for the video--it was my pleasure to make! Thank you so much for the kind words!! :)

  • I got this book from Audible.com, and I recently listened to it again. I like it very much. It made me think of Persephone and Pluto, and how death IS the end of all true stories.

It sounds sad, but it really isn't. Thank you for the video. :)

  • @Archer5219 You are VERY welcome, Archer5219.... thank you for your comments! :)

  • People say they dont like the end but, I do!

  • MY FAVORITE BOOK EVER!!! Whens the movie coming out?

  • @TheRosesTears Unfortunately, the story of "Keturah and Lord Death" has not yet been adapted to a film version. This video is just my interpretation of the book. Actually though, the author of the book, Martine Leavitt, commented on my video and said that this was just the way she imagined it when she wrote the book (see her comments below). Now THAT was flattering! Still, to date there are no plans for a movie, but we can all keep our fingers crossed and hope for some day! :)

  • OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS BOOK. Seriously. One of my absolute favourites ever. Thanks so much for doing this! It's beautiful.

  • @RPtheTruth I love this book, too, RPtheTruth.... Thank you so much for your kind comments--I appreciate them very much! I'm very glad you like the video! :)

  • is this the actual movie to the book ???

  • @cusacrystal Hi cusacrystal! No, the story of "Keturah and Lord Death" has not yet been adapted to a film version. :)

  • i loooove this book!

  • @roueLLaLOVE ---So do I!! :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts! :)

  • I love this book now I feel like reading it

  • @deidarasfangirl223 I agree.... I think it's about time I pulled it out and read it yet AGAIN! :)

  • Oh how i wish they made a movie about this. i read the book out of curiosity and now its probably one of the few i have read a trillion times over. i practically know the book by heart!! XD man. if people don't make this a movie than i will!! lol

  • Exceptionally done. I like the fact that the pics actually matched the words and weren't random at all. I could totally see the Tristan and Isolde couple as Keturah and Lord death.

  • @Riverdanceninjo01 Thank you so much, Riverdanceinjo01--I appreciate your very nice comments, and I am SOOO glad that enjoyed the video. :)

  • I love this book and is there a movie about this lol i want to see it

  • @Ana37755 Hi Ana37755... I love this book, too, and I wish they WOULD make a movie, but so far I don't believe there are any plans for the big screen. In the meantime, we can always re-read the book!! :) .... and, uh, we can always watch my video, too!! LOL :) :)

  • After seeing your video... I really, REALLY wanna read this book. But I'm brazilian and the book wasn't launched here... I cand read it in english, though... Does someone know if I can download it or read it online anywhere?? I'm getting desperate here! T.T

  • @killerkuru -- Hi killerkuru. Thanks so much for your comment. It really is a wonderful book, and I know you would love it. Even though it hasn't been launched in Brazil, couldn't you go online to the Amazon website (it won't let me put the URL address in comments here), and order it from there to be shipped to you? You can even buy it from a secondary market there for only about $6.00 (US Dollars). Best of luck to you! Let me know if I can help in any other way. ~Dawn

  • I absolutely loved this book! Its so dark and romantic. I also loved the ending how she choose Death, however, I was very disappointed when he cried, seriously lol. In my mind though, I imagined Death to be older and Keturah to be a burnette :) Nice Work!

  • Well done! You really captured the feeling of the book! Thanks!

  • Thank you so much, ebifmo---I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm very glad you liked the video! :)

  • er.....Keturah's my name......creepy......

  • After watching this vid, I am sooo going to read the book.

    I LOVE this!

  • Thank you BabiiexElmo! I'm very glad you like the video---and I'll wager that you will LOVE the book too! I'm happy that my video has inspired you to read the book. If you browse through all of the comments left for this video, you will see that the author, herself, left a VERY nice comment too! She said, "This is beautiful and just the way I imagined it. Thank you. Martine Leavitt" It's wonderful to know that my vision for this video matched hers in the writing of the story! :)

  • hey love the vid !!!! could you plz tell me what movie is it??? i mean the fotos are from which movie??

  • Hi pollock1590, thank you for the kind words--so glad you like the video. For the purposes of this video, I used images from the movie, "Tristan and Isolde".

  • At the end I always thought that when she was telling the story it was just like. . . Her telling her life story but not. . . I believe she went with death when she was young but the beginning is weird too. I came out with she was telling the story to newly dead since she was deaths bride she could see the dead too? xD I dunno I like to think they got together forever that very day because she did say she gave everything up for hium, a cottage and a baby. I may be ranting but I do that. xD

  • i loved this book!

but i didn't get the ending?

can someone explain it to me please!

  • I LUV THIS BOOK SO MUCH ! its my favorite book ! i luv it so much that i'm mad they didnt make a movie 4 it. grr. lolz

anyways awesome video !!! its in my favorites rite now ! ;D

  • Hi Andrew9190! I just love the book, too! I never get tired of it--NEVER! I wish they would make a movie, too---but, it would have to be done really well, or else it wouldn't be worth it! Thanks for the kind comments, I'm really glad you like the video!! :)

  • I loved the book - my friend told me about this video. I didn't like the way she did the preface, though; it made the whole book slightly confusing - I did like that idea, whoever commented and said they thought it was like she lived and then was with death at the end of her life. But I still thought the preface thing - while a good introduction - clashed with the ending. But I still adore the book! What music did you use for this video?

  • Hi RPtheTruth! Thank you for the comments--I appreciate it. I think it's wonderful the way everyone forms their own personal meanings about the book. That's what makes it such a great story!

The music that I used is called "MAY IT BE" (yes, the Enya song from Lord of the Rings), but this particular version is by Taliesin Orchestra. :)

  • I READ THIS BOOK TOO!!! IT'S SOOO GOOD! It's probably one of if not my most favorite book. it's good quality romance and not that cheesy over done stuff you find in the romance isle of barnes and nobles or whatever

  • Hi smeethes! Agreed! One of my favorite books, too! :) Thank you for the comments. I enjoy the discussions between "readers / viewers"!

  • I found the ending to the book quite unexpected. At first I thought she'd end up with Death, but then I thought she'd end up with John for sure. xD

But, I'm a bit confused, is the whole book just her telling a story? I think it is, but I'm not so sure...

Ah, well, the video was great anyways =3

  • i always thought the end was her when she was old and she the whole book was a story she was telling them but really the story she was telling them was the story of something that really happened to her when she was younger, if you get what i'm saying. i also thought that she decided to live but when she was older and died she'd be with death...that's how i looked at the ending of the story

  • Oh... I see. I guess you can't have a definite answer anyways, since the ending isn't clear. It's still confuses me, but I think its supposed too xD

  • @smeethes good interpretation but SPOILERS

when she tells the story at the start she and Tobias are young so if she's and woman they would both be old at the start point. And then her grandmother goes into the forest at the end out of sadness at being the only surviving family member so that seems to suggest that, well Keturah isn't there. Plus we all know she wanted a 'wee baby' etc so I don't think she'd settle for being alone when she could have Lord Deaths companionship, whom she loves.

  • Hi ktkittycat---I am SO glad that you liked the video, and I love the discussions you've brought about. I've enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts, and you've all given me a lot of insight. It definitely IS an inspiring story, and I think that perhaps everyone takes from it their OWN personal meanings. I'm sure that's how the author wanted it to be. Each individual reader will take form their own meanings and gather their own personal inspiration. And that's just awesome, don't you think? :)

  • Heyya, your welcome! And, Yes! That's the way I like to think about song lyrics too. Sometimes I see a lot of debate about what they mean, but I think that they mean different things to different people. And I'm pretty sure the artists do that purposely, to spark wonder.

  • what movie did you use for the clips?

  • Hi KassandraBailey1995 -- For the sake of my Keturah and Lord Death video I used images from the movie Tristan and Isolde. :)

  • I'm a big fan of AGATB and now you've totally convinced me to read this book! I've never heard of it before but your video was great!

  • Hi crazy4hanson99--thank you SO much for the nice comments!! I'm very glad you liked the video, and I am especially glad to hear that it has inspired you to read the book--I promise, you won't be disappointed! It's sooo good!! :) You might be interested in this... if you scroll through the comments, you will see the AUTHOR herself, Martine Leavitt, commented on this video. She LIKED it!! Said it was the way she envisioned it when she wrote the book!! Pretty cool, huh? HAPPY READING!! :)

  • I just finished Keturah and Lord Death!

Oh goodness, it was soo good!

And I've also read the GATB series. I love the video you've made!!

One question though, at the end of the coda... is Keturah talking? Bc the first sentence of the coda confuses me lol

  • AGH!!! This books sounds so fantastic, I wanna read it so badly!!! I can't find it anywhere. maybe I'll buy it off of amazon....

  • Hi missdizzyliz! Yes, it IS a fantastic book! You MUST read it!! You can't find it at borders or barnes and noble? If you plan on using amazon, you can probably find a secondary-market copy for a lot less money---even though it will still be brand new!! :) ENJOY curling up for a few hours and just melting into the story!!! :)

  • if you have a library card then go on your library's website and put the book on hold or order it from a book store and buy it when it comes in but you really should read it, it's soooo good

  • This is such a great book. I just finished reading it a few hours ago. I really hope it becomes a movie one day

  • Hi scincegeek94! PLEASE forgive my delay in responding to your comments. I don't know how I have missed your comment here, but wanted to reply. Oh...wouldn't it be GREAT if this was made into a movie someday? It's such a beautiful book!! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)

Thank YOU for writing such a beautiful and moving story! All who have read your book have been deeply touched! ~ Dawn

  • I really do love this book. Nice job incorporating Tristan and Isolde with it. A motion picture would be so epic and beautiful...and dark and strange...and amazing!

  • Thank you, quietgraffiti. I agree... a movie would be beautiful! But it would need to be done WELL!

  • This trailer you made was really good. My friends and I were thinking of acting out a trailer for this book but after seeing this trailer, I know we have to!

  • Hi ProjectSamIAm! That would be really cool--I'd love to see the final project! Thanks for the kind comments, I'm glad you liked the video! :)

  • This book is my absolute favorite. It is the only one I can read over and over again and find different meaning in the context.

I'm glad you made a movie of it. Kudos to you. and Thanks for making this.

And i agree with those who say this could and should be made into a movie. It would...rock. Haha.

    Ciao!

  • Man i would love it if it was turned into a movie!

  • Hi, dragonfly1324.... I would love it, too, if they made a movie. I keep saying that I doubt they will, but I've decided to change my position on that. I hate to be negative about it, and I really hope they DO make a movie--as long as it's done really well!! :)

  • That was beautiful... now I am wondering if there's a movie coming out about this. If there isn't, they're missing a great chance to make a 5 star rated video

  • Thank you so much, xxGarraSandofWindxx--I really appreciate the nice comments and I'm very glad you enjoyed the video. I tend to doubt there will be a movie, but who knows? As you said, it COULD be really good if it was well made! :)

  • this was a gorgeous video~

  • I love the video they should make a movie on this book I loved this book Where did u get the pics for this video

  • Hi edendegollado... thank you very much for your kind comments. I'm glad to hear that you liked the video. Most of the pictures are from the movie, "Tristan and Isolde". :)

  • hey!

    this was a good video!

i really liked it, and i loved the way you used the images and song to make the book come alive!

also, i wanted to know if you could tell me what happens at the end of the story, because I'm thinking of buying the book, but i usually only like books where the two main characters fall in love and stay together,(you know, your average romance book!)

i wasn't sure if that would happen in this book, so im a bit hesitant to buy it from amazon.

    thank you!

    great video

    =)

  • Hi ballleruiz. Thank you so much for your comments, I appreciate them! I'm very glad to hear that you liked the video! • I love this video!

I read the book two days ago and I absoloutley fell in love with it.

By the way, which song did you use? It's gorgeous =]

  • Thank you so much Quantums3 for the nice comments. I appreciate them. The song is actually the Enya song, "May it Be" (the song used for the credits in Lord of the Rings), but this is an instrumental version done by Taliesin Orchestra. I love this version, too!
