  • black people enjoyed this show as much as white's, hell look at the show's now where they call each other nig...s and dogs, humor is humor every race and class of people are made to look funny, grow up, when we can no longer laugh at ourselves we may as well go to war , now wouldn't that be funny ?

  • corny

  • Yu Gots ta Love These Guys...: )

  • Originally telecast on September 20, 1951, and adapted from a May 27, 1951 radio script.

  • Back in the day of these shows and Jackie Gleason and all the rest had silly men acting like babies with intelligent wives. There was nothing wrong with these shows, I grew up watching, my generation grew up watching. Oh but NAACP made the choice to remove these shows FOR us and it was wrong. Good Times, The French Prince, House of Payne, the Browns, etc is not buffoonery? What was missing from the people who removed these shows was a lack of COMEDIC APPRECIATION. They should been ashamed!

  • Sad genaration of kids will never know who these guys are. Dumb ass naacp! Notice they made the whites as robbers. That could be racist!

  • thanks buddy!!!

  • "One of the first rules of canasta is to play with your hat off."

  • This was one of the truly funniest shows ever. The performers were classic and brilliant.

  • "Illegal substitution of the cranium!" LMAO! I love this show and all of the crazy things they say. God I wish this would get a proper release with remastered prints.
