  • I'm planning tio marry him as soon as it will be legal. Or before, if someone allows 12-year olds to marry adults XD

  • @GunsGenialeStuff Gosh! You're 12 years old? Man I wish I was you when I was twelve! I'm quite jealous that you have better taste in music at that age than I had :)

  • @medicaldoctor369 Eh.. Sadly, yes XD Aww, thank you SO much for saying that! ... My taste in music seems to be a bit different than people at my school's, but everyone is different... :) You're really kind ^^

  • I thought that coffee and TV is starting when I first heard it. Great song! Love Graham and Blur

  • same rhythm as Coffee and TV, love it )

  • no tab 4this anywhere anyone knw the chord progression pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

  • Love love love LOL

  • Admittedly the Colchester accent isn't the smoothest or sexiest in the world, but our Graham makes it work!

  • Wow, I LOVE Blur but the intro to this song sound very much like Morissey (or the Smiths w/e). Check out "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" and you'll see what I mean. Graham was fantastic when he was with Blur, but on his own... not as great.

I wish Blur were together working on new stuff!!

  • @MrLowThumb he was great in blur of course but i think his solo stuff is brilliant too. the diversity of music styles...punk, blues, jazz, folk, country whatever you want. it's all there and he totally makes it work. the new lp next year and from what he's said it's wiiiiiiild:]

  • I hear a lot of Syd Barrett's influence in this..

  • not my graham's favorite, but still pretty good.

  • yeh pop got totally lost these last few years,

  • i like his voice.

  • Blur were like the Beatles of the 90's. Nice to hear a good pop song every so often.

  • I like his vocals. A lot. Sounds very personal, not like these singers with crazy range where it's all so soulless and dull even when technically impressive.

I am disappointed that he isn't using a Fender Jaguar guitar like he does in the video, but fuck it, good sound from his Tele anyway.

  • @zackpliskin

    Yeah, totally agree.

Although I could say the same for Albarn...

And probably that's why I/we like alternative and indie more than metal and stuff.

Its about impressing people with good music, not just with skills....(well, Coxon is hell of a skilled guitarist, but you get the point...)

  • Yeah, I have been into metal and I have been starting to get bored with it. There is not alot of originality in it. Just look at Blur they were the most original bands of the 90's. Graham is one of my favourite guitarist. Alot of people think else because he isn't fast but who cares. He is original as hell!

  • great!

  • I love the fact that he uses cheat sheet live. He forgets his lyrics sometimes and it's even apparent on this performance at about :37 in

  • it's not. Trust me :)

  • love love love<3<3<3

  • Brilliant song. Brilliant lyrics. Lovely chord progressions. Dreamy vocal melody. Can't really complain.

  • typically graham coxon's

  • sounds very like coffee and tv. i love graham

  • es, although it is redeemed by the quality of the guitar, which is as good as anything he's ever done.

  • That riff at 2:37, though is pretty damn close to perfection, though. Check out the chord forms he's using.

  • Graham did reuse the vocal hook from "Coffee and TV" for the beginning here, didn't he?

I wonder if that was a deliberate reference.

  • Sounds like it

It was good in Coffee and TV, and it's good here!

    and welcome back, Blur!

  • errr, no. thats incorrect.

  • my telecaster spinning faster!

    genius!

  • classic track! Reminds me a bit of coffee and t.v by blur but... although I like some of blurs tracks I think coxon's solo stuff has a certain energy and rawness that is absent from blur.

  • there's something very simple about his lyrics. but it works..

  • yeh give the bloke a break!! this is class,i paid 30 quid to see him support the kaiser chiefs and i cant stand them,he has the gifty of writing great tunes, and has that gritty punk edgyness thing!! saw him twice in 06,just hope he keeps the solo thing going!!

  • Give him a break everyone, I really like the song! Yeah, his vocals are a bit off at that performance but his guitar playing is amazing (obviously).

And it does sound a little bit like Coffee And TV at the beginning :) Which isn't a bad thing.

  • Grahm Coxon :)

  • if i heard it for the first time i thought it was a blur song. you could really sense it in this song. good song btw

  • I love Blur

  • sorry, I wanted to response to skunnydipper16

    graham is simply the best

  • me encantaria ver en vivo a Graham en Chile

    he is so great!

  • Graham is a Genious brilliant. Genial Esta Cancion!!!!!

  • you are pathetic

  • why the fuck are you watching this then?

  • well in that case you even have a point lol

  • no u

  • fucking russian

  • This is brilliant.

  • it's sounds like coffe & tv

  • @vivio19861986 hahaha in fact, he use almost the same guitar chords haha although he plays this song quite faster :P

  • @vivio19861986 too much if you ask me

  • Great, cool song. Thanks a lot for posting this.

  • a prime example of fantastic songwriting!

  • it seems he's not enjoying what he's doing..

  • Yeah, I was just reading another interview with him when he said he often still has to fight his self-awareness and stage fright. Maybe it was a bad night for him.

Still, it's a great song. He has nothing to be shy about..he's capable of brilliance & I think the shyness makes him appealing to a lot of people.

  • Graham reminds me of young John Lennon. Might be the glasses might be the coolness...or the haircut.

  • I miss the guitar solo.. but nice song

  • lovely

  • i love graham... seriously, im really in love with him... may get myself a psychiatrist hhahahaah

  • haha, then it means i need a psychiatrist as well xD

  • what about a group therapy then? cos I think I'm too....

  • then you need me, im a psychiatrist

    (not)

  • @trucuku1982 count me in for group therapy

  • @lucreciasoruco if there's one who needs psychiatrist is me then, i'm a male (totally straight)

  • graham and damon are genius. I wish they get together again

  • my inglish is bad sorry......but your videos are amazings ok....you are one the best fans of blur trucuku1982.atte one mexican that i love blur.....arriba blur porque es la mejor banda del planeta

  • hola :) gracias por tu comentario :)

y estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, blue es la mejor banda del planeta! :D

  • ya, i think albarn was a better lyricist. Coxon is a guitar genius though!

  • Yeah totally. The backing music is great.. The lyrics aren't so good.

  • blur sounds way better

  • he should have been with blur that sounds way better

  • he was responsible for more of the blur song than anyone else. well the good blur stuff anyway. love it.

  • osaihdqorw

    youre really cool.

  • i love him!!

  • graham is one of my favourite guitar players!and the is pretty pathetic!

  • No way it is! He's amazing!
