@taboo90 Ok I wouldn't say that I hate it but I think that all of Björgvin Halldórsson's entries in the national finals from 86-90 and in 92 were better than what he actually performed in the contest and I think most of Icelandic people agree with me on that. I specially like his entry in 86 Ég lifi í draumi(I live in a dream) and 89 Sóley(Sunflower).

Looking back it's easy to se why it failed. he styling the arrangement were all wrong. It needed a longer more dramatic intro., some hung male dancers in suits, make it a kind of "Bond theme" that wasn't.

This one should have won that year. Unfortunately, too few people watch the semifinal in the Nordic countries and we do not normally get any votes from southern Europe or even central Europe for that matter. Unfortunately all countries in former Yugoslavia tend to vote for each other and more people watch, hence they almost always come to the finals, at least Croatia with quite crappy songs.... I am not that bitter though ;)
