@dziegele Dickie also played fiddle in the same fashion. I remember him sitting crosslegged on a piano bench played a fender fiddle with it laid across his lap. I used to play with his brother Cap Phillips and played with Dickie a time or two.
Carlisle was right handed, and I don't think he ever played with Williams. Which seems to mean there were two guys playing in this mad style at this time. Anyone have any further ideas?
