I played in an Orchestra for few years- as well as Noting countless Tv & live performances-- seems Fiddle players & Oboe players always dressed immaculate..but Cellists & Bass players didn't have a clue..One of lifes mysteries.?

I must say that I normally don't like young cellists playing debussy because they normally lack the musicianship to play this even though they might be technically capable. You, however, are an exception :)

One thing to note: it's apparently bad etiquette to play chamber music without sheet music unless your collaborator(s) have the parts memorized as well and sonatas *are* duets :P.

@aznmusicmaster I'm so glad there are others who think this, you're completely right - it's not a solo sonata it's a duo sonata and should be treated as such, either both with music or both without - it's like a string quartet performing with only the viola player not using music, it looks really odd!

on a more positive note though, cellist is extremely talented, and this is a very musically mature interpretation of the debussy sonata!
