Hi mate i know i have asked this before but what are the white things round the dartboard when it is in the cabinet? Do they come with dartboard or cabinet or seperate and if so where can i get them? Thanks
@harryl95 - they are plastic door wedges. You shove them underneath your door when you want to hold it open. they are about a quid for 2 from pretty much any pound shop.
I can't be doing with stapled boards either. Defeats the object lessening the width of the wire system when the staples reduce the scoring area on the key board areas. Blade 4 a much better board and will be the standard for a long time.
@leroydude91 - pretty much, although I suspect that the Diamond Pro board is packed a little less tightly as it doesnt have to hold in the blade system as well.
@leroydude91 - I would choose a Blade 4 everytime mate - great board but more expensive. however I believe there is a great deal on them at the minute....
@Darty555 i have never used it so i cant slate it tbh but cmon staples in 2011. i bought a unicorn eclipse pro board 4 year ago and it has no staples, maybe a few bobbles in it and in 4 years of daily play on it i have had literally less than 10 bounce outs on it. i wouldnt buy anything from winmau personally. they are well below the standard of unicorn.
@mrjointsmoke - Well below the standard?? Based on what tests? Quality of sisal, construction, packing, colour quality etc etc??? - thats why I never include PERSONAL OPINION in my reviews. I only ever test what I see and talk about whats there.
@double16dotcom i am not saying all thier products are poorly made, just that they are behind unicorn in terms of overall qaulity and product satisfaction. winwau's technology has all being lifted from unicorns products in the past mainly the boards though. personal opinion lol im sorry but thats kind of what a review is mate. 1 mans opinion does not make it so but i personally think other brands like unicorn and target are superior to winwau. winwau are not unique in any way shape or form.
@mrjointsmoke - far be it from me to doubt your opinion mate but I have searched through the section on Nodor history on Patrick Chaplain's site and for the life of me I can't find anything about them copying their original idea from any other company..... they invented it in the first place.
@mrjointsmoke why spend more money on a practice board the only games you will be playing is with your mates so it dosent matter if you have bounce out once in a while
@double16dotcom how are the working out comared to you old d16 darts.also what design did you settle on.also if you havent settled on a design i was using some barney hero yesterday and they have the same idea with grip front and back but insteed of a smooth section it has tiny micro rings and i could tell where my finger was every time but could move and still grip fine with out being slippy if i needed to get over a blocked bed.you should cheek the pics out of them.nice vids keep it up mate.
It has a staple through the edge of the treble so I am sticking with my Unicorn Eclipse Pro

Okay that's cool. If you may give your personal opinion wich board you think is better then?
Im currently using a blade 4 but I want a new board because I hang it to much outside when it was cold and raining...
