i have a betta by it self and it has those white bugs too, i wanna change tha water but now from what im reading here in u tube i probably shouldnt???? i think i am though
there are many different types of "bugs" that can infest aquariums - if you arent sure then change them out... its just a sign that your tank has some good chemestry going - so dont change your routine even if you do get rid of the creatures...
what differentiates them from copepods?

Actually they are ostracods, one of their common names is seed shrimp.
