i guess i am glad they did this.......? kinda? but they should put another big fast ride in six flags, the last ride they built was the dark knight which sucks so they need to build a big fast roller coaster. hopefully they will for the 2011 season but they probably won't.
@josephvanorsby78 man, why does it have to be a stand up? because stand up coasters are painfull, or atleast the iron wolf is because thats the only stand up i've been on.and you bang your head and it hertz your balls
@PeeAir31 there was a public hearing for a change in the 125 foot zoning law for maximum hight the president of six flags said it was a B&M Standup. so its pretty much conformed
@AsItNeverSeems Yeah it is officially confirmed now, I checked. Its gonna be a nice add on but it still kinda sucks since its standup. I just hope its not as shaky and headbanging as Iron Wolf.
@PeeAir31 well i heard that they were gonna put changs old trains on iron wolf to get rid of those shit intamin standup trains and put brand new ones on chang. iron wolf would be beast without the headache. and i personally think standup coasters are the best. so i will love it. have they announced the name yet?
@AsItNeverSeems I never heard of that idea yet. But if they do, then it doesnt sound like a bad idea, seeing as the bumpiness of the ride is pretty much what makes it so bad. I'm pretty sure they're just going to leave it as "Chang"
@PeeAir31 they should change the name to my balls hurt. and have advil sponser it. and then for the hell of it write Trojan Magnum ads on the side of the stashion. but to be serious i think they should rename it and give it a cool paintjob. like call it the blackhawk because the hawks just won the stanley cup. or the thunderhawk and paint it brown and gold.
I think its great that they are preserving it but DAMN ITS TIME FOR A BBBIIIGGG CUSTOM BUILT RIDE...last time sfga saw one of those was in the 90's...you owners need to stop taking great attendance at the park for granted
@PeeAir31 If you dont like it, then and dont ride it. This ride means alot to people who grew up going to kiddieland and this was the first coaster they rode (like myself). I think Six flags GA has showed alot of class by buying keeping this coaster in the chicagoland area. Theres no need to badmouth it.
As I said when I reviewed the Leap the Dips (look up the You Tube clips) at Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA, "I love the steel mega- and gigacoasters of today. But in a hyperkinetic, adreneline world like ours, there should still be room for the older coasters of yesterday." Get on a ride like the Little Dipper and just relax, have fun, and enjoy it.
