  • I've watched hockey 40 yrs. and saw this one live. It had to be the nasty riot ever in the NHL.

  • People are in Colorado. As an American I would love to see the Nordiques return. Send Florida up there and it will work out perfectly for the new realignment.

  • @rbkgoalr33 I' hoping the Yotes will move to Quebec City.

  • Colorado, Columbus, Florida, New York Islanders, Phoenix, what do these hockey teams have in common? No one supports them... So why have 5 American teams that no one cares for, that are really bad, and make these other Canadian cities suffer, and that you know are going to have more support. I say replace these American teams with Canadian teams and everyone will be happy. I got so happy when Winnipeg got there own team instead of having Atlanta. Lets hope they do more!

  • why the fuck did Bettman ship the Nordiques to Colorado... the bastard screwed up a perfect rivalry btw the Habs and Nordiques!!

  • @Kael7777 Didn't the Nordiques simply go out of business and the player contracts assigned to the Colorado Avalanche, who had been scheduled to enter the league as an expansion team in 1995??

  • The fucking off-ice officials should have grown some balls and actually told the teams after the brawl, the players who were ejected, rather than being a bunch of cowards, who then blamed the ref, Bruce Hood, for not ejecting those players. God the NHL is such a bush league

  • plenty of ice for the bruises LOL

  • Somebody should have beat the crap outta Louis Sleigher... totally pisses me off seeing this again and remembering how he got away with what he did to poor Jean Hamel. When Mark Hunter went after Sleigher later in the game... he stood behind his teammates like an absolute coward... damn pathetic Louis "the looser" Sleigher.

  • I believe they called this the "Uncivil War"?????

  • Is that Richard Sevigny wearing Patrick Roy's #33?

  • @FranklyMisterShankly Yes it is Sevigny he played for Quebec and then Montreal

  • 252 penalty minutes were incurred and ten players were tossed; this battle royal is also known as the The Good Friday Massacre. The referee, Bruce Hood, retired after the playoffs.

  • i bet it was 2 on 2 in the third period considering all those game misconducts

  • could you write a little more description? I don't think you've covered it in enough detail

  • A LOT of classic names there.

  • MALADE!! ah the good times..

  • fucking good fight!!!
