Yeah and Tae Kwon Do came from the Chinese when the Chinese taught the koreans. TKD was a bunch of martial arts in Korea put together. The only one that didn't come together I think is Hop Kee Do.

TKD is pretty cool, its not the greatest form of martial arts, but it can deff be used in a fight

True. TKD works perfectly in a fight. I was once attacked by a guy that was like 30 cm taller and looked half like Shwarzenegger... He was BIG. He didn't stand a chance, and I even had military boots, that slowed me down when kicking. I was way too fast, and got him against the wall. No way to go. He was stuck and got some TKD punches in the face and chest. And I also kicked the back of his knee with those boots. And yes, this was self defense.

Yes.. it's because this is a demonstration not a sparring!! If you watch the olympic or any other Taekwondo tournaments.. they will have some real kickings/fightings which sometimes could involve some fatal accidents if the fighters do any major mistake in their moves.. I'm a taekwondo fighter so that's why I know..

I do taekwondo almost 2 years now those koreans were at my country to demonstrate too it was amazing...and for the other that spoil this video:Do u know how fucking hard it is to rise your feet so fast try a litle bit of rising ur feet as much fast as u can adn then compare ur leg speed with the leg speed of koreans...and i remember when i only started tae kwon do it has already helped in fights i hit a guy right in plexus with an kick he couldnt stand up for five minutes.

I used to do TaeKwonDo when I was a kid (for a few years). I got to like green belt with a couple o' stripes or something. I forgot all of the forms and most of it in general... but this brought back some memories. Pretty evolved for TaeKwonDo.

Obviusly you have no idea of what you're saying... There really is no "best martial art". EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING depends on the fighter. I could do TKD and kick a Jeet Kune Do guy's ass, if I have more speed and better technique. But if he's experienced then I get MY ass kicked. You know what I'm saying?

I took Tae Kwon Do for 7 years and would have to say that it is by far the best martial art as far as looks go, we focused alot on kicks, hence the name tae kown do, (way of the foot) but its not the greatest as far as practicalness is concerned. Check out krav maga, very effective real world fighting.

My son is 7 and has been in Tae Kwon Do and loves it! I've now enrolled him in gymnastics, that way when he gets his black belt he can use the artistic part of it. I still think it is great to watch!
