I just bought a 2000 superhawk and i cannot get the cowl off. I turn the key and it willnot pop off. I am affraid to pull to hard and snap somthing. Any suggestions?

lol You probably solved the problem by now after 4 months.

But I always find that, If I turn the key and hold it there, then pull the whole seat backwards sharply it comes off nicely. But every time I do that it takes the skin off my fingers. Just the price we pay I suppose lol.

Then all you have to do is tease the plastic tabs off their brackets (on the underside of the seat) without snapping them. It's pretty fiddly isn't it?

what height is the driver? i can say he is tall, so am i :) would like to imagine how would i look on this vtr :)
