I really don't like this arrangement--too many stops and starts. That is, there is some kind of a tutti line for a measure, things abruptly stop, and then after a measure wait or so, begin again. (No continuity of overall orchestral rhythm we would say in school). Anway, I think Patty Clark has about the perfect big band female voice--not overbearing (voice complements the orchestra, not competes), very much in tune, wonderful inflections, just a pleasure to listen to! Again, love that brass
