Yes I actually had a cut very similar to yours, in my right middle finger. I lost a littlr bit more finger than you but most of it did grow back. I was amazed every day. Although it did not grow all the way back it actually grew enough to look like a whole finger again. I hope your cures good and does not bother after it heals.

you are lucky. if you had gone much deeper it would not grow back much at all. But it would round itself off again. Mine could not grow back because I lost over half that joint. But after the doctor made some relief cuts to move tissue around and also remove the bone stub sticking out it healed up and gradually rounded off again and re sorted out its nerves. most of the time it feels almost normal now.

Sorry about your digit :( But wow. That's amazing that the doctor was able to get it to round out quite a bit after removing bone and moving tissue! Wish you had pics or videos of that. It sounds far cooler than my re-growth.
