love this camera! i don't know why some people say it gets too hot because it gets warm at best after continued use, nothing to cry about. Takes amazing pictures, and the 10X zoom is addictive! Even the movie quality exceeded my expectations. No buyer's remorse for this product for me! :)

Then it states "this does not affect the performance or the quality of the camera".

LOL, every camera, pda, ipod, zune, every product that uses batterys gets warm when using batterys. Its a by product of the batterys conversion of energy. lol
