  • This is a strongly heterosexualised image of America created by Reagan. I'm not gay myself, but the emphasis on marriage, family, young men and women highlights the latent homophobia of Reagan's administration and his silence throughout the AIDS epidemic in the 80s

  • It's morning again in Amerika. More people in prison than ever before. Poverty is up. Cities are post-apocalyptic wastelands of violence and drug abuse. Deficits are skyrocketing. Future generations can be stuck with the bill for the the boomer spending spree.

  • This was the election where Reagan swept the country winning every state except one( Mass) and the most votes ever or since.

Republicans, independents, and Democrats voted for him in fact they coined a new term "Reagan Democrats".

Reagan inspired the country to be American again and to believe in the country.

Man, we need a president like that again.

  • Under Ronald Reagan's leadership, we were a country back on the road to economic recovery. Mr. Reagan made us all proud to be Americans. We were once again on top, & the envy of every other nation. Under Reagan, it was truly "Morning In America Again"! Under Barack Obama's leadership, it's "Mourning In America Again". "Again" referring to since Jimmy Carter's tenure in The White House. God Bless You, President Reagan. I wish you were still our President. R.I.P., Sir.

  • @ChihuahuaboyDH Great post and God Bless Ronald Reagan.

  • Or: how to say absolutely nothing and look good doing it.

  • All these comments make me not know to either love this guy or hate this guy.

I didnt live in this time period, im going to read his autobiography

  • No President even comes close to the leadership ability that Reagan demonstrated since he left. Those who don't believe that should pack their 7 things and move back to Russia.

  • Looks like an ad for "White People"

  • RICH PEOPLE MAKE RICH PEOPLE MORE RICH!!! YAYYYYYY!!!!

    GO AMERICA!!!

p.s - THE POOR??? LET THEM EAT CAKE.

  • @bbcasting In American the poor have opportunities to become rich. If they squander those opportunities then all they have to blame is themselves.

  • Comment removed

  • Hmm wonder why they didn't include rich people being happy in this ad...

  • What a load of horse shit this was.

  • This is the America I love.

  • You don't miss what you had till it's gone

  • That is very nice!

  • Newt is the next Reagan.

  • It's midnight in coal mine right now

  • It's 2011 in America. It's a gloomy scary night for a long time in America

  • God bless RR

  • God Bless You Ronnie! I love you and I miss you!

  • provides them protections against so-called “hate.”

There are rumors that there are videos of the occupy wall street leaders having child sex celebrations for the movements across the country. The same person who went under cover at acorn is also doing so through the occupy wall street

  • As H.R. 1913, the House version of the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act bill, the plan was adopted on a 249-175 vote, but not before several amendments were proposed by Republicans trying to mitigate the impact of the law. The proposal, also called the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act after a Wyoming homosexual who was killed in a horrific robbery and beating in 1998, creates a special class for homosexuals and others with alternative sexual lifestyles and

  • Coming up I remember being poor in the morning in America. Nevertheless, I can say that Regan was one of the greatest President's of all-time.

  • Enter Reagan, who implemented deep, across-the-board tax cuts, curbed Washington's regulatory bureaucracy, and instituted sound monetary policies tha restrained inflation. The results: the largest peacetime economic boom in U.S. history and nearly 20 million net new jobs.

Hey obama has lost almost 20 million jobs in just 3 years. its kind of a ying yang thing

  • I found a good article that helps explain why people talk about the "tripled deficits" during the Reagan era. At then end of his presidency and into the first Bush presidency, they were shrinking. They'd continued to grow at the beginning of his first term because of the effects of Carter-era policies. Or as it was called "pre-antichrist obama days" (even back then)

We certainly can understand how policies from the last couple of years effect the economy right now, don't we?

  • did Reaganomics Work? Yes, it did. The 80's were prosperous. The 70's had been disastrous--sitcoms had unemployed characters because they were people everyone could relate to. In the 80's, we had Alex P. Keaton and J.R.

In my own family, people with their own businesses struggled under an increasing load of red tape and punitive government policies during the 70's. In the 80's, it was just the opposite, at least for those who'd managed to keep their businesses open.

  • It went from "Its morning in America" with Reagan to "its mourning in America" with Obama

  • @illipphillip Now that was funny ^_^

  • @phoenixbornagain We certainly can understand how policies from the last couple of years effect the economy right now, don't we? Economies don't turn on a dime.

"For starters, let's remember what things were like when Reagan took over. In 1980, inflation was running at 13.5 percent, the prime lending rate stood at 21.5 percent, unemployment and poverty were rising, real income and productivit were falling, and real economic growth had ceased.

  • Morning in America - if we can only find our way toward the dawn...

How this nation could benefit with a President Reagan now.

  • Those were the days. God bless President Reagan.

  • I was born in 1980, so unfortunately I only have dim memories of Ronald Reagan's actual presidency. But all you need to do is watch this video to remember what a great man he really was. Surely I can't be the only one who gets teary and feels their heart swell when they watch this.

  • Oh, if only Reagan hadn't had Bush as his VP.

  • To everyone who were adults during this period:

You all are so lucky to have lived and worked during the heyday of this country. While our social fabric was still somewhat intact, when finding a job wasn't impossible, when Americans were still proud to be Americans and intelligent. You all are blessed, unlike my generation. May history remember this country for what it was, not what it is now and will become.

  • @conned126 Learn history and convince others to as well. Understand how great this country was and can be again. Remember, Reagan was after the disastrous Carter admin. sometimes it takes a Carter to find a Reagan. Thank God for Obama in one way. He and his Marxist, globalist agenda has awoken the sleeping giant. Also do yourself a favor, don't believe the lies from the media and the unions about the TEA party. Join one and also join your town Republican town committee and get involved to win!

  • @drewby7777 AMEN!

  • the greatest tragedy is that jimmy asshole carter still is alive and mouthing off and we have his second term going on right now.

  • @nomadnametab LOL well stated! could not agree more.

  • Now, a man that we admire greatly is Victor Davis Hanson. He's a noted farmer in the Central Valley of California. He is, in his own way, a Renaissance man. He's a Greek historian par excellence.

I love listening to Victor Davis Hanson describe ancient Greece. You know, in ancient Greece they had their own Clinton.

  • GREAT ad !

  • Back in 1984 when this ad was made, I had no idea how hard it would be to have another Reagan. Like my friends dad said, "there was only one"

  • @Chris6134 Well we never knew there was so much liberal trash like fuctmentality driftign around. how knew anyone could have everyone having jobs, higher standards of living and strong moral core? Never knew there was a party full of lex luthor types as the DNC

  • @phoenixbornagain Yeaugh especially like now. Too much disease ridden liberal trash flying around. But they will be buried into the earth's core in 2012. ^_^

  • @Chris6134 Amen

  • @Chris6134 Well hell does seem to be where "X" marks the spot on liberals final destination

  • @86am round and round the rugged rock the liberal wrestled with the rusty rectum wrecker.

  • @phoenixbornagain Why are reactionaries so obsessed with anal sex? Learn how to write in English before you reply to me.

  • @86am You must be talking about gay liberals as they are the home party to the North American Man/Boy Love Association.

  • @powerhawk2000 "A study followed 269 cases of child sexual abuse. Only 2 of the perpetrators were gay or lesbian. The study concluded that 'a child's risk of being molested by his or her relative's heterosexual partner is over 100 times greater than by someone who might be identifiable as being homosexual, lesbian, or bisexual.'"

cite: Carole Jenny, et al., Are Children at Risk for Sexual Abuse by Homosexuals?, Pediatrics, Vol. 94, No. 1 (1994)

  • @86am We now know where Democrats’ allegiances lie. They’re certainly not with our Armed Forces. Nope… they’re with the most depraved, disgusting people among us: pedophiles.

    Here’s some background:

The leader of a pro-family organization says families across the nation need to contact their U.S. senators now to try to derail a legislative plan that already has passed the U.S. House and is being awaited by President Obama – after a Democrat confirmed it would protect “all 547 forms of

  • @86am sexual deviancy or ‘paraphilias’ listed by the American Psychiatric Association.”

WND columnist Janet Porter, who also heads the Faith2Action Christian ministry, today cited S. 909, dubbed the “Pedophile Protection Act,” as an extreme danger to America.

    Liberals are ungodly sex freaks

  • @Chris6134 Agree. Interesting how over 20 years after Reagan left office and the leadership void in the Republican party has never really been filled.

  • @HamptonRoadsTVFan True. Today both parties are lost causes for the most part. Back then we had our priorities right. Today it's all about greed and new world order etc...etc. We need real conservative leadership again. Hasn't happened ever since.

  • @Chris6134 todays gop has foundits purpose again in the tea party movement and we are going to roll over the DNC and push it out into the sea, for good after the 2012 vote with new laws against their wants and desires. Amen

  • @phoenixbornagain Glad to hear it, Phoenix. They (DNC) will be buried in 2012. I will do my darnest ^_^

  • @Chris6134 lets get this post up to 17 thumbs fast ^_^

  • @footstomp1 17 sounds good !

  • @Chris6134 17 it is ^_^

  • @phoenixbornagain and now it's 20 ^_^

  • @Chris6134 YEA!! ^_^

  • @phoenixbornagain and rising !!! ^_^

  • @Chris6134 "Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country." - Ronald Reagan

"I strongly support Ron Paul, we very badly need to have more Representatives in the House who understand in a principled way the importance of property rights and religious freedom." -Milton Friedman

  • @Destroyer220 Amen and thank you.

  • @Chris6134 I remember telling my wife in 1989 as Reagan left office,"What are we going to do without him" and you know what, i'm still waiting, that void has never been filled.

  • @lander4545 Amen ! And yes, it hasn't been ^_^

  • @Chris6134 Well what you kind of forgot was that... your side suck and being your socialists that moderates and conservatives alike don't like NOR want socialism here in America. And you know what is so so so sweet to be able to take in our hands and just slow crush in your face is a statement made by democrats before the vote that "David Weprin's win will be a referendum on Americas support for president Obama's policies". hehehe

OH HOW RIGHT YOU WERE! hehehe :) ^_^ :) hehehe

  • Obama Increased National Debt More in 4 Days Than Truman and Eisenhower Did in 10 Years! Last week the Obama administration reportedly increased the national debt (in inflation-adjusted dollars) more in a mere four days than the administrations of Presidents Harry Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower increased it from 1950-1960 — an entire decade.

  • As the debt ceiling debate raged on this is what conservatives are up against. The insane, failed fiscal policies of the left are still being pushed by the Senate and Harry Reid.

After the Chrysler bailout cost American taxpayers over a BILLION DOLLARS is there any further reason to take these people seriously?

  • I couldn't stop laughing, how stereotypical of an election ad this was.

  • People should get more ketchup.

  • I love being an American.

  • One of the great things about the Internet is that it’s a great information resource for homeschoolers. There was a time when looking up information on the Internet was like being forced to attend a DNC rally in drag. The liberal bias was overwhelming and most sensible parents simply banned their children from using the Internet.

  • We need another Reagan....fast!!!

  • @luberific We another president who will triple the deficit, sell weapons to our enemies, & fund mass murder? & We need him fast?

  • @Fuctmentality I feel sorry for you, really I do. Stupidity must be your constant companion since you're an obvious VICTIM of the American public school system. You need to check your facts and not believe the spoon fed liberal pablum foisted upon you by your leftist teachers. I suppose you would prefer a clown like Jimmie Carter who screwed up the middle east and our economy or maybe Jimmy Carter II, the enept fool, who currently occupies the WH and has America on the brink.

  • @luberific Very well stated, excellent post.

  • @Fuctmentality You read history?? I don't think so. In all likelyhood you have never read a book ESPECIALLY a history book. It's obvious you're giving lip service to someone else's thoughts and ideas. Maybe something you saw on a blog over at the dailykos. Really, sometime you should try reading a book, get an original thought and you will be the better for it. In the meantime we can agree that Reagan was a great president and you're an easily manipulated weak minded boor.

  • @luberific What ideas would knowing about Iran Contra be playing lip service too? & Yes clearly knowing history is clearly playing lipservice to someone whom posts on dailykos ideas. Even though it's not an idea it's what fucking happened & it's not lip service it's fucking history. Important history too, as I am unaware of any other incident of a POTUS being guilty of high treason.

Seriously read a book & not one with picture on every page.

  • @luberific Great post brother

  • @luberific the News groups crunches the numbers: At the start of business on Tuesday, Aug. 2, according to the Daily Treasury Statement, the national debt subject to the legal limit was $14.293975 trillion. Obama signed legislation that day lifting the limit by as much as $2.4 trillion—with an initial and immediate increase in the limit of $400 billion.

  • @luberific So you''re saying, you support the known traitor & supporter of mass murder known as Ronald Reagan, because you're too stupid to have ever read a fucking book?

Honestly I'll answer your question, Yes I would prefer Carter to Reagan, because Carter didn't support genocide nor commit high treason, you fuckwit.

  • @Fuctmentality Lefty rule #7 - when losing resort to vulgarity. What's next? I'm racist. LOL Reading a single book would be100 times as many as you have read. Keep posting..it's amusing to see a troll parroting the pablum he's been fed by some looney leftist and then demand that we take it as fact. As a Carter fan, you would rather have a weak US that's on the brink. Well, thanks to Carter Jr. you've got it. Silly me, I want a strong US and strong leader. Now run along little man.

  • @Fuctmentality Here we go again. Lib rule 27 - find someway to infer your opponent is a nazi or likes hitler. LOL So you claim as fact that Reagan was a mass murderer and a traitor. Did I miss his trial and conviction, was he impeached. NO there was no trial, no conviction. Maybe you know more than the JD, the MSM or the NDP (who would love to see Reagans image tarnished). Maybe you deduced the alleged crimes from some lying liberal rag or maybe it's just a figment of your imagination. G'BYE

  • @luberific It's "inept" ... just sayin' ;) That's kind of ironic, ain't it?

By the way - I'm proud to have served during President Reagan's administration. We need another man like him.

  • @Odessa45 I'm with you!!

  • @luberific P.S. I hope you and luberific will join me marking thumbs down daily on the internet boiler room socialist postings of fuctmentality

  • Comment removed

  • @Odessa45 Dam straight. Or a great america loving female like michele bachmann.

  • @Odessa45 Thanks for the correction. (inept) I'm doing pretty good for someone whose first language isn't English and much better than fuctmentality, the fool at whom it was directed. Fuctmentality claims that Reagan was a mass murderer and traitor. Thanks for your service and I agree that Reagan is needed once again.

  • @luberific Well, I certainly would not have guessed that English was your second language! Not that I'm a pro at it myself, but you certainly seem to do better than many others, LOL!

  • @luberific I never claimed your precious messiah Reagan was a mass murderer, I stated he funded mass murderers. Note the difference. Of course you don't mind that he funded the Contras, & after congress put a stop to it he continued to fund them with some of the profits from selling arms to Iran (ie High treason). & Yes attack my writing skills because you have nothing else.

  • @luberific Morning brother.

  • @Fuctmentality You got that in Obama

  • Except obama increased american debt by x4 in just 2 year then it took the last 200 plus to create.

Oh and you are the reason the air smells bad, except I plan to do something about that.

  • @calimar28 You're in no position to tell what "we" need. You're just an confused little cunt racist.

You should not be roaming free in a sane society.

  • That was the biggest lie ever told to the U.S. Since the day Ronald Raygun took office america has slowly but surely turned into the land of hopelessness and despair. Eight years with Clinton we were able to hold off the worst of the damage but as soon as Bush was in office the stock markets tanked.

Then a convenient terrorist attack happened on 9-11. Followed by biowar attacks attacks on Democratic Senators from within the U.S. It's mourning in America.

  • We'll come out of the dark ages. We can feel from this ad what it is like to emerge.

  • Simple but effective commercial. This and the bear ad were two of the best political commercials ever made. Compare that to some of the lame ads we see today in political campaigns.

  • @govrom12 They are incredibly intolerant of smokers and tobacco users. The only other group of Americans they may have more hatred for are home-schoolers or proud gun owners.

They also hate fat people. If you’re obese and a “liberal,” get with it. Your fellow ideologues hate you and want you to become a vegan after you sign up for your first yoga course. Want proof? Check out this article, “The Future of Obesity,” from ProtoMag com

  • @phoenixbornagain I'm an obese chain smoking, gun owning liberal. You sir are the reason we object to homeschooling.

  • @govrom12 The subtitle of the article: “SHOULD OBESE PEOPLE, LIKE SMOKERS, BE: Barred from indulging in public spaces, taxed on their habit, targeted by public health campaigns, shunned socially?”

  • Just don’t call them “liberal.” (least they dont wnat anyone to call them out for who they really are... liberals)

  • Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18 times for a total increase of 199%.

George H.W. Bush raised the debt ceiling 9 times for a total increase of 48%.

Clinton raised the debt ceiling 4 times for a total increase of 44%.

George W. Bush raised the debt ceiling 7 times for a total increase of 90%.

Obama has raised the debt ceiling 3 times for a total increase of 26%.

  • This really is an incredibly effective ad, regardless of what you may think about Reagan.

  • @Amphryxia Call them Fascists; call them Socialists; call them Democrats, Leftists, Losers, Pinheads, Pinko-Commie As*holes (who think they know what’s best for you); call them, as H.L. Mencken would, proud members of the Booboisie, or whatever else you want. Hell, you can even call them “progressives” (even though their agenda is just about as “progressive” as it is “liberal”).

  • This ad can be distilled to, "Production of boots is up, the chocolate ration has increased!"

Reagan is the figurehead of disemboweling America and replacing it with a corporatist feudal state. Three short decades later, the plan is almost finished.

  • The greatest heroe of freedom in the history of mankind!

  • @rafaelkafka That is 100% true.

  • @promisedeyes could not agree more.

  • But let's have the conversation. I mean, can I ask you a serious question? When did referring to someone as a socialist become akin to calling somebody a racist name? I mean, I understand the meaning of racist words and the hurt there. But socialism is not that. That's political ideology defined by discernable characteristics and if somebody points out those characteristics, you're pointing out a political viewpoint or policy.

  • I want to spend the time with you answering the president's claim that no one has anything to back up calling him a socialist. Why are we in the name game? I want you to know that all of the evidence presented, I wanted to put together a one-sheet for you of everything that you need to know.

I want you to pass this around. Make a commitment to pass it around to 10 friends. Let them decide for themselves.

  • In 1984, it wasn't morning for the literally thousands of Americans dying from HIV as their president ignored them. He allowed 25,000 of his own people (the equivalent of more than eight 9/11s) to die before even mentioning the word 'AIDS'. I will always hold him responsible for negligent genocide for this.

  • whats the music

  • IT"S FUCKING MIDNIGHT, MAN!

  • Not counting the communist professors he sought out in college and his Stalinist wife, the people Obama admires and hopes to emulate are his father (posthumously), his pastor, and his friend, the terrorist.

There’s a big mystery at the heart of Barack Obama’s Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.

  • @FRSFreeStatePlus Great post.

  • Every page of Barack Hussein Obama’s life contains links to militant Muslims, hard core communists, virulent Antisemites, terrorist enablers and good old fashioned crooks. Liberals may argue that each of these relationships does not reflect Obama’s “real thinking”, but only the incurably insane would hold that as a package they do not mirror his ideology and illuminate his character.

The gallows awate all who voted D after 2012, amen

  • Obama is friends with William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, the Weather Underground terrorists of the 1960′s.
