I found a good article that helps explain why people talk about the "tripled deficits" during the Reagan era. At then end of his presidency and into the first Bush presidency, they were shrinking. They'd continued to grow at the beginning of his first term because of the effects of Carter-era policies. Or as it was called "pre-antichrist obama days" (even back then)

They'd continued to grow at the beginning of his first term because of the effects of Carter-era policies. Or as it was called "pre-antichrist obama days" (even back then)

That was the biggest lie ever told to the U.S. Since the day Ronald Raygun took office america has slowly but surely turned into the land of hopelessness and despair. Eight years with Clinton we were able to hold off the worst of the damage but as soon as Bush was in office the stock markets tanked.
Then a convenient terrorist attack happened on 9-11. Followed by biowar attacks attacks on Democratic Senators from within the U.S. It's mourning in America.

Simple but effective commercial. This and the bear ad were two of the best political commercials ever made. Compare that to some of the lame ads we see today in political campaigns.

@govrom12 They are incredibly intolerant of smokers and tobacco users. The only other group of Americans they may have more hatred for are home-schoolers or proud gun owners.

George H.W. Bush raised the debt ceiling 9 times for a total increase of 48%.
Clinton raised the debt ceiling 4 times for a total increase of 44%.

@Turtleproof No moron the 1970s was more of a corperate state and the USA has drifted into the corperate political economy of Europe which to no ones surprise has structural >8% unemployment, high corporate power consentration, a lower standard of living for the middle class. @EasyEs Europe's economy consistently outperforms the United States, you've been watching too much TV. Listening to the TV one thinks that France is on the verge of collapse when in reality its one of the leading economies on the planet, same with Germany.

But let's have the conversation. I mean, can I ask you a serious question? When did referring to someone as a socialist become akin to calling somebody a racist name? I mean, I understand the meaning of racist words and the hurt there. But socialism is not that. That's political ideology defined by discernable characteristics and if somebody points out those characteristics, you're pointing out a political viewpoint or policy.

In 1984, it wasn't morning for the literally thousands of Americans dying from HIV as their president ignored them. He allowed 25,000 of his own people (the equivalent of more than eight 9/11s) to die before even mentioning the word 'AIDS'. I will always hold him responsible for negligent genocide for this.

Every page of Barack Hussein Obama’s life contains links to militant Muslims, hard core communists, virulent Antisemites, terrorist enablers and good old fashioned crooks. Liberals may argue that each of these relationships does not reflect Obama’s “real thinking”, but only the incurably insane would hold that as a package they do not mirror his ideology and illuminate his character.
