If you want to compare technicallity compare metal with John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Baden Powell,Paco de Lucia...hip hop it's not supposed to be complex,it's just a different type of art,and for me the best hip hop (Mos Def,The Roots,Talib Kweli,Gang Starr...) artistically it's more interesting and specially more educative than some of that shit... Cannibal Corpse tomb of the mutilated, Bondage Goat Zombie WTF I respect every type of music but this shit is fucking ridiculous...

@Denalai I see what you're saying, and agree with you to an extent. Guys like Jedi Mind Tricks, Mos Def, and Immortal Technique are pretty "educational" with their lyrics. Unfortunately the message is always delivered with poor grammar, however, that doesn't take away from the lyrical value(in my opinion.)
