Made an intro edit myself because I couldn't find it anywhere. Also put an extra twinkle in the middle of the track. Because that twinkle melody is just awesome!
For me this is something of a return to form, simpler the better I reckon. 4/4 beat, solid vocal, trademark floaty intro and subtle key changes. I do think he peaked creatively years ago think the xpander ep and the underrated airdrawndagger
nice to see ppl like sasha to educate other's and try to make producer's to compete to do better.... the best competition ever.... from a legend to the world.... simple as that
What about the vocal behind it, nobody find it yet..? a mystery. I will have to email the author of this song personally. So many people have remixed this song and no one could have said who is behind the vocal. I like the voice too, very deep and energetic. A sort of reggae tonality, pleasureful.
i love sasha's work, hes music for me is full of emotion! gonna be a hard one to call between his set and richie hawtin's in south west 4 weekender, their clashing...... hmmmmmmm decisions decisions!!
Uncomfotable? Ha! Aren't you sensitive. Sasha fans are wierd man. I'm off to heed your sugestion and listen to something I like. Gettin dressed down for not licking Sasha's bumhole has become soul destroying.
Uncomfotable? ha ha, aren't you sensitive. Sasha fans are wierd man. I'm off to heed your sugestion and listen to something I like. Gettin dressed down for not licking sasha's bumhole has become soul destroying.
He has seen more music than any of us, anytime...so what he talked with his original is definitely more mature than mine...his music is not getting bad, he's going in a different direction...we just have to wander in his direction to understand his music better...
The ideal way of giving opinions on a track - if you like it - would be to 'like' it first and then give your views...if you dont like the track, just press dislike and walk on...to whatever you like...
I really appreciate that you 'liked' my work...but using heavy comments like my track is better than the original somehow makes me (and everyone) uncomfortable...what Sasha tried to tell us with the original is different than any other remix...
Sasha is one of those rare artists who talks with his music...how many times have we seen him give press conferences...but now he released his track in a press conference...
if you guys liked the vocals, i've tried to accentuate it in my respray...and carried it on a simple two tone 'stab and bleed' bassline...all it needs now are your ears to judge...
me?...i m just a small musical bird trying to tweet for marketing...
@TangentOfficial LIked cos even though i'm not a fan of this track i think that your remix is brilliant and far better than the original. Some one in the comments said lose the vocal, i think it'd work better as a dub. Nice one.
I must add that no one has inspired me more in the DJ and dance floor world than Sasha. You changed my life. For many years your sets were my equivalent to going to church and cleansing out the crap, reuniting with the soul and the unity of the people. I'm ever grateful. The best, most listened to tape in my world is Angels 1995' in the BT era. Dynamic, soulful and anyone can listen to it. Northern Exp 2 and Involver are masterpieces. In2 amazing too. Love, peace n' grease...
Nice track. About time he did a vocal anthem. Got really bored at the Warehouse Project. After some moments of genius it got too Nu Electro annoying.
On vinyl maybe he was less distracted and concentrated more on the crowd. I was the biggest fan since Shellys and the Hac. Now I don't feel like seeing him because I get bored of the music. Too 1 dimensional. Had to turn off the soundcloud sets. Not enough melody and vocal. Miss the days he uplifted the crowd after getting heavy. Involver is top!
Been listening to people rave about this tune for weeks and this is it? Tune of the summer my arse, its a Snooze. Sasha's style stagnated about 6 years ago, he stopped moving with the cutting edge and is still playing this trancey prog dirge. he used to be my hero. Now i wouldnt cross the road to see him. Gimme Danny Daze your everything over this rubish any day.
@MrBusterduke Ha Ha, judging by all the cheesy garbage on your page i'm not surprised you think so. Whats pioneering about a simple 2 minute floaty synth intro? If this was on ADD it would of been the worse track on it and that album came out ten years ago. That vocal makes me cringe. Sasha's not the man any more. Get some taste and a clue you clown.
@thepukerchu1 I wouldn't laugh at Busterduke my friend. Everyone is laughing at you instead. I just love that you seem to have put so much heartfelt passion into your comment. I suppose you wanted to sound intelligent and that you know what you're talking about. You actually sound like a whiny little b*tch. People would be able to take you seriously if you didn't carry on like a grieving fanboy who can't get over the fact that dance music has changed over the years and will never be the same.
@QuantikMusic Nah i still go out dancing every week, just to better stuff than this. You all just sound like toungey little sycophants with your head too far up sasha's arse to realise that this is shite. I've forgoten more than you know about music mate so jog on.
@thepukerchu1 Oh this is shite is it? So you're saying that just because you tell me it's shite it therefore has to be shite with no exceptions what so ever? Or did you mean to tell me that only you and the people that agree with you are correct and that everyone who doesn't think it's shite is an idiot? If that's the case, seriously reflect on that and you will realize how stupid it makes you sound. Music is subjective and I do not think this track is shite.
@thepukerchu1 Yes that also means you're entitled to your opinion about this track. So because this is all subjective here is what I think:
If you don't like a track press the back button, if you absolutely need to post your opinion phrase it in a way that the rest of us can embrace and agree with. I do think 'ADD' was better material but I don't go around calling everyone else shit. That's fair enough right? *Cue your opinion on how I'm a wanker, faggot etc and other hate filled expletives*
@QuantikMusic Hmm you seem to have a strange recolection of the passage of events here dude. Read my original post, It was an critic of the track. I ddin't insult any one for liking the track. Just comments on how i didnt like the track and why i thought sashas music is not as good as it used to be. I was then met with insults and i responded in kind, to yourself included. "Whinny Little bitch i believe you said"? So i wont call you a faggot, wanker or anything hate filled (cont).
Because its not my stlye. I never even called anyone an idiot. I even mentioned a track which i think is cutting edge production, show people what is going on in the dance scene at the moment which isnt so date. So i was completely subjective if a little damning. So i think you should read through a thread and actually have some idea why your having a go at me. You seem to think your intelligent enough to work something like that out. peace
@thepukerchu1 tracey prog? trance is where most of this sub genre B.S is born from. when all this other crap has faded, trance will still be there. i agree that sasha has lost his edge but dont blame the style, there is a multitude of great trance out there.
I've already heard it on another YouTube video, but I had no idea that it was his IMS anthem! Can't wait to see him do his walk through of how it was made!!!
