South Korea, Poland, Israel etc are all developed from American investments along with West Germany and Japan. They are all "bubble economies" as they are built up from dept. Their economies are to tied with the United States to be consider "Great Powers", they appear to be more like "Satellite States"

We don't have the population to be all that important in world affairs. Nor are we in a geographically significant position, our only neighbour is the US. Add to that, our economy is basically completely tied in to the US.

Ha ha, according to DiscoverRussia George Frieman is "Russifobic" because he sees a larger role for Poland in the region and World.
Russian's with its imperialistic mindset, do not allow other role for smaller nations than to be Russia's slave like Belorus or Kazachstan, or to be neutral, buffer zone, a waste land used by Russia in case of some mithical "Western invasion" :)

Russia is an agressor and exploited most and still exploits some of its neigbours.
People like Zbigniew Brzezinski, as well as great majority of Poles are just pro-Polish and patriotic. It is their right as an independend nation, just as Russians have a right to be pro-russian and patriotic. We Poles do not care about Russia, because it is a foreign country. Russia has its own interest, Poland has its own, both have opposite interest, and that's Russia problem..

Exactly Matthias4085!!! Western world including Poland and Eastern Europe has its own stragic interest, which opose Russia's interest.
Russias strategic interests is to control as many of its neigbours as possible, so Russians leaders like Vladimir Putin are just angry that Poland, Baltics and other East European countries do not want to be Russia's slaves anymore. Are you suprised?

Poland was an European Power both military and economic, and a largest state in Europe from 1400-1700's, the fact that the anglo-saxon historians like to overlook, not mentioning the todays media...
Which is not suprising, Polands existance was and is somewhat inconvenient for expansionist Germany and Russians, whos policy was always, to make Poland look way worse that it really was.
In reality Poland potential and role is 10th times bigger that its neigbours are willing to give it...
