Most of all SO proud to be Native American from the Choctaw/Cherokee Nation. My 5 yr. old Grand, was most happy to share with her class: "We are having a LIVE Indian @ our home for Thanksgiving, our Gannie!". Plus she told some neighbors as well. Her friends, etc. GREAT! It's sinking in.

I am not Native, and for years have been on all kinds of anti-depressants. Listening to Native flute music is the first time I have actually felt relaxed. Cannot explain it but it is like someone is touching my sould and calming me. I find this beautiful and haunting.

For some people, the visual display can heard. I am one who has heard it. My first time in North Dakota, at NDSU-Bottineau and Institute of Forestry, I awoke at about 3 am. My bed next to the window, I looked out. We had fresh snowfall, so there were no footprints or vehicle tracks. Then I looked up. Wow! For this Georgia boy, I was blown away! I slapped on my sweatsuit and ran outside in utter amazement! Then I heard a sound..a vehicle approaching. County Sherifff Dep. Not good.
