editors do not sound like joy division.why because they do dark rock pop songs too,so what.how many bands have used synths, guitars, drums and a bass.umm,1 or 2!.editors have a much crisper sound.i have both joy division albums and 3 editors.people are in love with the mythology around ian curtis(me included)curtis and smith both have great dark voices,i just wish i could have heard ian's voice a little clearer.this comparison is cliched populism.

This is one of the best songs ever, and also one of the funniest ever. I think making a good cover of it is nearly impossible, because the original just got every bit perfect. But at least they tried.

It's normal for Editors - their music is pretty fucking downbeat, but I feel their taking the performance of this song a bit too seriously. That's all.

I love this song, but I think people here are speaking just bad about the 'youth of today'. Saying they need some sense for good music and therefore need to listen to either Talking Heads, or their lyrics. Being a part of 'the youth of today' I think this is generalizing.
