Im an Iraqi war veteran (2 times) and I don't know ... part of me agrees with this guy to stand up for his beliefs, but the soldier in me could NEVER let my platoon / company whatever go to war without me. I'd stand by their side right or wrong ONLY to make sure they come home with me.

We had a bitch in my unit who did this. She was a country music hearing hooaa bitch till she got orders to Iraq then she pulled out all the stops to dodge it. We had a bitch in my unit who did this. She was a country music hearing hooaa bitch till she got orders to Iraq then she pulled out all the stops to dodge it. They gave her a break the first time then she tried it a second time and it took a while but the bitch got a bad discharge and six months in the brig.
I woudl respect if soemone doesnt want to go for morals reasons or they are against the war. But if they are fine woth the rest of us going but donge it ehn its their turn.. fuckEm!
