rhythm 1: Yankadi (a flirtation dance) 2: Macru (the sped up version of yankadi Played in conjunction with it) 3. Kassa 4. Basic "passport rhythm ( it sounds like Pa Go Pa) 5. Maybe an accompaniment to Tiriba, though I never hear it played this way.
Well. I just started learning how to play djembe.... I have 0 musical background.
I clicked this link thinking I could learn a few simple rythyms.......
No such luck.
Those are some awesome sounds! I cant wait to get as good as you. I like in the 3rd one you show your face, can see you are still learning. TOTALLY awesome.
My mind has been blown.

I see you started with Yankadi, than Macru but what were the other rhythms that you were playing after that????

rythm 1 is an accompanment to yankadi
rythm 2 is an accompanment to Sinte
rythm 4 is an accompanment to Kassa
rythm 5 might be tiriba
