being born in '92, the youngest boy of 4 older sisters. I want to know who the heck in my family bought this game this game. None of them were "real" gamers, and i sure as heck don't think they were interested in a game called "Mega Man X", so who did it? I don't know but whoever did made my childhood the best childhood a child could ever have. Funny thing, in '95 my cousin came over and beat the intro level for us, because none of my sisters could lol

They would've made a good movie if it was funded properly and stuff. You can find it on screwattack I think, or just google it.

Wait I'm confused now. If you're saying that Astroboy came first, and in turn influenced the creation of Megaman then I agree because I turned that while looking up Astroboy two weeks ago. Keiji Inafune had even stated that alot of the characters in Megaman were based on a lot of japanese cartoons he saw as a kid. Astroboy was written in 1952, and the original anime aired in 1963.

Actually, yeah... Astroboy inspired the creation of the Rockman franchise. The Astroboy manga was originally printed starting April of 52... The original Rockman game didn't hit the Famicom until 87.

I had a similar situation while playing Devil May Cry 3 when having trouble beating two bosses. From what I understand though that dream was fueled by desire, and you subconsciously gained the knowledge needed to beat Chill Penguin and Storm Eagle while utilizing what you learned from experience gained by defeat.
