I'm humbled. I would attribute my efforts to Jason Tozier who introduced me to two books by Barbara Perry on hate crime. These books are a wake up call for me and I was compelled to talk with the world of the Deaf about bias, hate speech and language codes leading to oppression and discrimination. It is not an easy road and we do get mocked by some "educational" arrogances.
