Pls understand that Im taking nothing away from Harley..he's magnificent..(& nice to look at too),,Greg's audio & video seems to be of poor quality..He should work on that going fwd..Greg has been doing this long before Luther's passing & appears to have really polished that Luther aura..(Im just sayin)..lol
@Lyrics6 I'm just saying too, Harley gets it for me every time! Greg can sing but Harley has something that is unique without even trying on that level. Look at how the band reacts to him. I'm just saying...
I remember singing beside that voice in HS!! Harley...wow, you've only gotten better. I'll never forget singing beside you, "Make of our Hearts one Hearts" when Mrs. McCauley was there!!!! Good times, great choir!!! Love ya! Charlotte
Wow...not only a FIRST-rate group of West Coast session musicians--I've got all those cats on many different CDs--but this singer is uncanny! Gives me chills!
We just saw Harley perform at Sambuca in Atlanta and it was Unbelievable! If you haven't seen him live you Must! It would be great to see him with Luther's band and backup singes together. That would be scary.
My lead singer sounds so amazing, Luther would've been very proud. I still miss Luther very much, his departure was way too early for the music world. There will never be another Luther , who will melt our hearts with his silky voice.
His name is Harley Griffin. He is from Laurens, SC... and played football at SC State University. He was also a vocalist on the jazz ensemble along with myself, and vocalist Mark Middleton(of Blackstreet) He currently resides in Atlanta, GA. You can catch him @ Sambucca in Buckhead on occasion.
Good Lord! Sends chills down my spine! Ya'll just sing. A fitting tribute to a superstar.
Where were you when these other so called artist were destroying the essence of Luther's legacy? I am so glad to have discovered. It just was too short.
Such a touching tribute to a musical artist who left behind a legacy that it is incredible in its quality and ability to speak directly to the listener.
Thanks for sharing. God has blessed you so tremendously and the best is yet to come! Continue to minister through your music. I look forward to serving God with you in ministry. Keep me posted of future engagements. Much love, Amy Roney
