I have always loved Merrill voice. He is incredible. I saw a talk show once where Elton John was one of the guests. Mike Douglas, the host, asked Elton about his singing. Elton said if he could change his voice with one person he would choose Merrill Osmond. I thought oh wow!!!.

The Osmonds would have been nothing without Merrill. They were at their best when he was featured up front and center. Beside he being the lead singer, he should have been the one making the solo albums - and it should have been "Merrill & Marie".

I've always loved the quality of Merrill's voice. I think Donny probably has more range but Merrill's is just so unique. Marie has a great country voice.
