i am sure you can get more than tha if you go interstate driving (in the highways). Why?

one, home to school is city driving.

two, 50 times driving means 50+ times starting your engine...and engine start consumes a lot of fuel.

three, interstate driving means less engine start and more of constant speed driving.

What do you think?

Bluemotions are awesome piece of engineering...it's good you have one, I wish I could. Sadly I do not know whether they'll be selling it at where I live

A full tank of diesel (45 litres) is about £55-£58 depending where you fill up, but most places near me charge around £1.30 per litre.

Nice, i got 74 MPG in my fiat panda turbo diesel once. It's a similar sized car/engine but i think the VW engine is a 3 cylinder?

I average around 65 - 70 MPG, current tank 68.9 MPG, superb!
