  • awsome dude I whish I was strongman like him

  • Amazing set! I can't even manage half that weight and can only deadlift and squat a little more than this. However I wouldn't sacrifice being a regular sized guy for being massive just for strength gains

  • Most guys couldn't lift this off the rack.

  • That is some heavy weight for sure. Anything over 300lbswhile doing upright rows is very impressive only a few can hit this weight.

  • strict form is bullshit. good form works just fine. progress is evident. damn

  • Holy crap.

  • BEAST.

  • OUT OF BREATH MUCH

  • holy shit are people actually critiquing 300lbs for 10 reps on upright rows? "you will get better results doing slower reps with no thrusting" what better results could he get? he is huge as fuk and insanely strong. why in the world does a 150lber who cant do 1/2 the weight ever assume that he is the one doing it right? he is hardly using momentum at all anyway; you guys just want to find some excuse for being a small/weak youtube shit talker.

  • There's nothing wrong with his form. That's exactly how it should be done.

  • @BigTurd who showed you how to do an upright row? The first 2 were really good. But the rest were poor. The proper way is to have about 6" in between your hands from the center of the bar. Lifting the bar straight up till you are within 2 or 3" from the top of the peck. And NOT let the weight fall down.

  • @bowtiebarn The proper way is to get bigger and stronger. Something he's done and you haven't.

  • @BigTurd If you mean, to get Fatter, then no I haven't. I only weigh 185lbs and 5' 11" . Stronger ? Yes , I have been getting stronger. I didn't say anything about him not being strong. I was critiquing the form he was using. He's lifting 315lbs 2 times the right way. All the rest were half ass. There is a big difference between getting strong and getting big. Maybe he should be using 225lbs for 3 sets of 10reps before going up in weight. If you can't lift the weight properly, go lighter.

  • @bowtiebarn Why would he want to take advice from you when he's huge and you're not?

  • @StanleyKu if you mean "HUGE" as in FAT. Then yes. He is huge and I'm not.

  • @bowtiebarn You don't know how fat he is until you see him with his shirt off. He doesn't really look any different than an offseason Olympian contender. And he's clearly reached his goals.

  • @BigTurd I agree. I've been lifting long enough to know that people who worry about "proper form" rarely see significant progress. What could possibly be wrong with his form if it has clearly given him results?

  • nice lift man thats power!!

  • thats strong

  • Since when was there only ONE WAY to workout?

    You noobs make me laugh.

  • not hatin but it's obviously too heavy for him, he does 1 rep 10 times not a set of 10. youl get better results for using a lighter weight and keeping the tension on the muscles without resting between reps

  • what horrible form, god that's pathetic. yeah it's a frick load of weight but your not supposed to use yer ass and upper body to jerk it up. stand still and do a controlled lift to your chin and back down. Thats how you isolate the target muscles, the shoulders and traps. weight thrown up so quickly also is "weightless" through most of that motion because its accelerating from the initial mega thrust he created. slow and even = constant weight amount and better results.

  • should your hands be shoulder width or close together? or can you do both without risk or injury?

  • @knewok

closer together will recruit trapezius more shoulder wide wil use deltoids more.

  • Its actually not that bad form at all!

  • @delsoul2003 you do it then faggot with ur perfect isolate but licking form you never can really move up in weight until u actually start trying to handle heavier shit

  • thats insane

  • While that is an extremely impressive weight to be rowing, the guy looks close to 300 lbs, so really all that thrusting kinda negates the "power" of the lift. And yes I know SOME thrusting is forgiven, but some of these reps looked like he had the weight resting on his thighs which he then pushed against the weight to help pop it up some. That adds even more force to his back thrusting it up. NEW VID, BETTER LIFTING.

  • what msucle group does this workout?

  • side delts, rear delts, traps, and biceps

  • That is High-pulls for traps .

  • That's one strong guy! Damn I thought 165lb was something to go by.

  • what a tank :D

  • Guys stfu. I'd like to see you guys get a video of a DEAD LIFT of 140 kg. This is an impressive feat right here.

  • the form was not bad at all. the momentium was very small I really dont see what these haters are talking about. you are allowed to cheat a small ammount to preform heavy lifts. hell I do high pull instead of uprights. a huge bounce there. how many of the troll experts in this section even lift? prolly just some kid been liftin 2 months thinks he is a expert trainer lol.

  • none of those count, ur supposed to lead with ur elbows and lift with ur shoulders... U used momentum to lift.

  • why dont they count? this isnt a fucking competition so shut up troll

  • what 2 muscle groups does this workout the most ? shoulders and back? or traps?

  • @knewok

    Middle back and traps mainly

  • yeah that doesnt count...at all

  • I can do traps with that weight and reps, but shrugs not upright rows hehe

  • he still looks like shit tho lol

  • the fucked up music is probably what messed this guys' form up...upright rows with 315, correct form or not is still very VERY strong...give props where props are due! jealousy is a female trait...

  • Awesome!!

  • Holy. Shit.

  • DAMN Strong!! never seen somebody do this with this kind of weight before! And yes we have monsters in our gym!!

  • and i thought 120 was good...DAMN

  • meathead

  • so many jealous people nowadays trying to be smart.

  • that weight was to heavy for him bye the 10 one he wasnt doing the full moverment so it aint 10 reps

  • it doesnt really matter......if u worry about ur form ull start training like a complete puss and will start to correct everybody that is doing something wrong which is annoying....yes you may get an injury with bad form.....but thats too dam bad isnt it?

  • no not when its a long lasting joint injury, but thats too dam bad

  • only if you can think of your own comebacks, but thats too dam bad......if ya smelalalallalalalalalalaalla what The Rock is Cookin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Form is everything you bell end. I bet you look like a right tit training.

  • ohhhhhh shuuuuuuuuuut up

  • He's right form is eveything. If you don't use correct form than chances are you are not working the muscle that your suppose to. this is crucial for athletes becuz a lot of their exercises are functional, but if they use wrong form than whats the point of even doin the lift.

  • I've never done this excercise before. I never knew about it. Can you find me a video showing & describing the proper form of this upright row excercise? When I lift, I want to have proper form in every type of lift that I do. I'm going for size & definition. Hitting the muscle right every single rep of every single set I think is what will give proper & correct definition(aside from the obvious back the weight down to about 70% of max & do more reps & less sets).

  • ohhh oops sorry. I meant more reps & more sets. Had my mind somewhere else @ the same time. Sorry. I corrected myself.

  • Disconnect between "weightlifting" and "reality". Not sure how many people in construction or a home depot I ever see, carry anything in an "isolated exercise" fashion-calculated momentum is a fact of life. I remember being stuck forever at same poundage for upright rows, shoulder press etc. careful momentum and boom! Never had a single ounce of pain or tear either.

  • His built like a strong man. Strong man tend to be thick all over and look fat but they are just thick. His form is OK.

  • i think you're using way too momentum

  • So what if he can lift heavy weights, the guy's morbidly obese!

He looks like shit, this is terrible.

"Burn the muscle, build the fat!"

  • Strike the bottom comment, I meant:

"Build the muscle, burn the fat"

    lol

  • Once again, ego training. Look how he glaces over to see if anyone is checking him out. A clear symptom of ego training.

    Get some help buddy!!!!!!

  • erm there's a mirror in front of him so why would he have to glance either way ?

  • His form is good... You don't want to go up to your chin, that puts too much stress on your rotator cuffs.

  • im pretty sure you can upright row 315 with horrible form ...ok there buddy...the people what worried too MUCH about form are the skinnest people that have never work out in their life...

pro bodybuilders with their 3" lift

powerlifters with their arch back on bench.....
