i agree. she needs to just come back and sing the way she used to. i think its because music has changed from the 90s. and also her voice might be failing becuase shes been singing non stop at least for 10 years and taking a break prolly does it too. the voice is used to being off and its going to be hard to get it back it where it used to. its there.(listening to E=MC2)just not as strong. IMO she got big headed and knows whatever she puts out turns to gold but she has a very good reason : )

I liked this one. It's like shit, we know you can hit those notes you've done it a million and one times, lol. Nice improv, something MC is not recognized for. Thank God for whoever preserved this amazing historical clip. She is a master of voice and knows how to make a song hers. Who else could take a potentially cheesy pop song and turn it into a pop classic? Even when she didn't hit all the highs, she improvised incredibly!!!

this isnt the best whistle video but its common for a whistle register to sound more airy and rhaspy now and then. it comes with the good-toned whistles that sound like a voice rather than the squeaky ones. Shes mastered whistle. But if you wanna hear a good performance without whistles see the Make It Happen performance in Madison Square Garden on the Fantasy tour.
