Other than that, I saw this in person a few days ago and it was great.

The guy at the back is ridiculous, I've seen this performance myself and it wasn't done anywhere near as over-the-top. So funny to watch, especially when his voice audibly breaks

Is this the name of the choir that won the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing last 1989? I know that this is a different batch, but I want to know if this is the choir that won.

No, this choir has only 6 years.
On 2003 won the International Choir Competition in Budapest. And on 2004 the first prix in baroque music at the "Concorso Polifonico Guido d'Arezzo"

... not only baroque in Arezzo, but all categories except renaissance, and thus the Grand prize for 2004. In 2005 they participatet in Varna, where the swedish Almenna Sången won the grand finale.
Quite nice choir, I like the cool folklore dresses and especially the beautiful girls inside them ;)
