What's so infuriating is that Apples TV will have all the features TV's have had for 10 years... but they'll WORK. I hate that other companies don't bother to actually make good software for their stuff.

My TV has some linux thing on it and trying to make it work as advertised is just a chore so I basically don't bother trying to use all the cool features it has. Last time I tried to stream to the tv I gave up after two hours...

the only problem if the iphone 5 has screen to its edges would be that the screen would take more shock when dropped making it break easier.... which apple might like...87% of all iphones and itouches broken break the screen and the cause is dropping

No Apple HDTV, no Mac Pro update and no 15-17in Macbook Air.

I actually think he's gonna be wrong on the iPad 3 retina display because it's hard to get a lot of dots because that increases your chance of dead pixels and when you get too many, you throw it away and I think they're gonna discontinue the Mac Pro.

The Mac Pro isn't the "most customizable mac", it's the "only customizable mac" and most people don't want it.

@commodore256 I think the opposite! They are not gonna discount the Mac Pro because professionals need them. The iPad 3 is gonna get the retina display (LG and Sharp are working on it). The HDTV set is work in progress for sure and last but not least the MacBook line-up is gonna look entirely like MacBook Air's but with the exeption that the 15 and 17 inch are gonna still have descrete graphics. Everyone have their own thoughts. Cheers

I used to be a geeky Apple guy, but apple disappointed me too many times because they showed they don't care about the pros anymore.

Hint #1: They discontinued the G4 Cube, it was basically a mac mini for people that wanted to upgrade their video card.

Hint #2: They Discontinued the Xserv

Hint #3: Final Cut X Sucks

Hint #4: They get 30% of every app in iOS

@commodore256 I agree with you on that, I look at things as a consumer so for sure my way of looking at things is different. Never the less, I think that unifying the whole MacBook lineup and simplyfing the choice is essential because at one moment they had three 13 inch MacBooks. At the end of the day, even if iMacs and MacBook Airs are every year more powerfull they don't give the flexibility that the pros need, I'll give you that. Cheers

Finial Cut X is more like beefed up iMovie, It's not a Pro editor, it can't even import projects that were made in the previous final cut and even Adobe Premiere can do that.

That's funny how you can load iMovie Projects in Final Cut X, but you can't load Final Cut Pro 7 projects. (apple skipped some numbers, they jumped from 7 to X)

Those motherboards are proprietary and you can't get a motherboard from newegg or tiger direct and install OSX without hackintoshing it.

I'm talking about CPU upgrades, GPU Upgrades, Ram Upgrades and PCI-E Expansion without replacing your motherboard. (BTW, a proper raid has at least 6 sata ports)

Example: I can upgrade my My CPU and Video Card and all I have to do is take out the old CPU and Video Card and put the new one in.

When people that like expandable/modular computing buy a desktop they get one thinking "this is gonna be great, it's gonna last me for years and when my computer can't handle future apps, I'll make it better".
