Excellent! What a mature sound! The interpretation seemed so sincere at such a young age.

It does bother me however that all the air support seems to be coming from the neck and cheeks. This may lead to bad pain and/or injury later if this continues. If he learns how to support from the bottom of his torso it will be much better. At first he will lose range and stability of sound but in the end it will make all the difference.

Outstanding performance and excellent stage presence as well... Forrest definitely deserved winning first place in the under 14 solo competition. And did I mention that he was playing on a C trumpet?!!?? Bravo in every way!

Unstinking believable. Nice work young man! When did you START playing? I didn't even begin until 5th grade and to be certain, I did not sound like that.
