Because the charade and the applause have the same engine (HC-E), but the applause has a longer stroke.... You can fit an applause engine in your charade, plug and play:)

ANother way to do it is, when u turn the ignition off, while still driving, wait like 2-3 seconds, turn the ignition on, and floor it almost at the same time, ur car will rev up like crazy to 8000+ rpms, and will jerk in ecceleration, i think i has to do will the computer being off at the time, and not reacting right away.

no no no not 8000 rpm are u crazy (max 7000 rpm)

there is nothing to get bye taking it to 8000 rpm.

only a broken engine.

it goes 180 km/t in 4 gear and over 200 in 5 gear(open airfilter, backbox and 1.8"std exhaust)

mild tuning is racing manifold and 2" exhaust. it will go from 105 hp to about 115-120 hp

uhm, well I try it once without any mods, and it was arround 180 I think. I was planning to try it again now, but, I had a accident with the car :(

But I know people with a applause going 210 :)

Nice my applause going 190 atm max, but my exhaust is broken stuck ... alot junk in it so going to replace it my goal is to get the car to 200 max :)

The applause i got is my first car bought it for 600 euro .. already did some work on it like spoiler airflower open airfilter neon under the car and inside .. total 900euro costed now but its worth it i like the car alot and i am sure theres alot in it that i can get out ;)

nice men, new exhaust from front to back. with some mods, it wil for sure go 200, I will ask the people I know for their mods on the motor and send it to you, maybe you have something about it.

Yea think so ^^ the car was damaged and stuff i got but i am fixing most of it it takes time and alot of money wich i dont rly have so it takes more then alot time lol ;)

But how do u get it into the red ? mine locks at 6rpm (when i reach topspeed, wont go futher) in netherlands they call it a "Toeren begrenzer" or something no idea if ur dutch too so fare i heart in movie ya are but not sure ;)

yeah I repleaced the ECU from my car, it's a sort of computer that regulates the gas and RPM, it's from a daihatsu charade 1300, but you van also let a company make one, but that's relay expensive

I have put in a powerfilter and an ECU from a Daihatsu Charade 1300, the original ECU onley allows you to make like 6000 RPM, whit the ECU from the daihatsu you can go arround 8000 RPM.
