Learn about gender identity disorder. This is when your body does not match your mind. Not to mention the fact that gender and sex are two different things. They are biologically male, but their gender is female, so they are female. Also, they are probably not sad. They just seem tired.

If you knew Korean you would of course know that they are not expressing sadness for the reasons you just made up. In fact.
