@xoxfazxox It's cause of the backing track; it wouldn't sound nearly as dissonant (and probably alright) if they didn't have it. I think M.I.A.'s actually admitted in interviews that she's not much of a singer, that's why she usually sticks to rapping.
What a horrible singing of the person, who was recording and singing with M.I.A. Pity.
