The floor tumbling passes will need a lot of work before the next world's. In the new code of points, the gymnasts won't be able to take a step backwards while raising their arms to complete the pass. It won't be considered a stuck landing unless their feet are stuck for the allotted time required. It'll be interesting how many change the way they tumble and how many can do the runs without stepping backwards.

Female gymnasts amaze me, they look so strong and fit. From around 2.16 to 2.22 those flips and summersalts are awesome.

How do they get so high, do they have springs in their feet or is it the mats?

im not from the US, but after watching last years Olympics Shawn Johnson won me. She definatly deserved her medal.

a gymnast anywhere tell me this does america do that harsh/crazy/borderline torture training stuff like china does for olympic hopefuls cause they making it seem like china is the only ones breaking their back to win gold

Because is truth,some of the girls on the china gymnastics team(Deng Linlin,He Kexin,Jiang Yuyuan and Yang Yilin)are too young!!!!

...And I felt so bad for Alicia Sacramone when she fell off the beam and then when she fell on floor :(

I agree with you. I wanted to do sort of a build up to the present. But all the vids I've downloaded lately seem to be such poor quality. I can't stand watching videos with horrible pixelation. All my Olympic Trials vids are heavily pixelated, or I would have used more. Thank you for all the input! I really love it when you comment. xoxo
