I'm a Jacksonville Jaguars fan. Leftwich vs. David Garrard. I always point to this game to tell people how good I thought Byron Leftwich was and could be in the NFL. This game was insane! ECU blew, what a 38-7 lead. The best part was those looks on ECU coach Steve Logan's face as they blew the lead! One of the greatest college football games I've seen. That Darius Watts TD catch, sick! Hard for me to find a better play in that type of situation.

Amazing game. Marshall is in some serious rebuilding now. I live in WV and love both WVU and Marshall,hopefully the movie will help recruiting. Snyder needs a good season this year..if not..well...

How did he prove all he is gonna be is a backup. Both can be pro bowlers with this system. Jacksonville is a run heavy offense. All you need to do is throw a COUPLE of good passes and have pocket sense. Both are equally good in this sense.

Garrard is NOT good enough. He's proven all he will ever be in the NFL.. a backup. Leftwich, on the other hand, with the right system can be a Pro Bowler.

The funny thing is that both QBs from this game (Leftwich and Garrard) are playing for the Jaguars. I personally think that Garrard is good enough to start for more than one NFL team that desperately needs a good QB. I'm hoping this is the year that happens.

Yes, I know who won, but it still pains my heart to watch it (being an ECU fan). Marshall came all the way back from a half time defecit of I believe 30+ points to win in overtime 66-63. It is still the highest scoring bowl game ever.

You are correct that Marshall won, but the final score was 64-61 and it was actually in DOUBLE overtime. Josh Davis, who eventually set the NCAA record for receptions, would catch the game-winning TD in double overtime.
