at custom settings, we dont see very high, also, scince all your doing is staring at some bushes, it doesnt prove anything again.... and we still dont see very high even in game, that could be low, for all we know... fail dude

Getting 35 fps doing absolutely nothing while holding a guy (which blocks the view and artificially increases the framerate) is not that impressive. 5970 ftw

im building a new computer with i7 920 and 295 gtx to start and then later will upgrade to quad.

Im thinking the same as porri, I dont think ill need quad atm and prices will come down in the near future.

I think quad GTX 295 have no sense right now. All games runs smooth with "single "GTX 295" it iwll awesome get a quad GTX 295 but when prices goes down. It has no sense have 2 GTX 295 to play Crysis paying such money for 1 game. Nice Rig by the way, maybe more mhz on Ram will be better :). Thanks for the video, today i will test a pc (phenom II x 4 3.2 (without Oc) + 4GB 1333mhz + GTX 295, so i will compare with yours fps. Keep working in videos like this :)

have you personally bench tested it with any games? didn't think so look all processors on the 5800 are better than the 295gt also it's ment for MOSAIC ultra high end rendering and it can keep frames steady while rendering high def models i'm not sure you know what your talking about

It doesn't make any sense you keep on arguing about. Quadro FX5800 is not gaming GPU, period. Yes, the 5800 has 240 processors but the GTX has 480 processor cores because it's dual gpu pbc designed.

anandtech shows that with i7 965 & 4870 gets only 16fps @ 2560x1600.

beside GTA iv that has a lot of AIs...runs great on quad core cpus.

crysis engine isn't advance enough to utilize 2 cores, let alone 4 or 8.

i get about 30...i7 only get 31.5...the only way to increase the fps is adding another gpu and quad sli.

I have the best GPU right now, and my dual core intel overclocked to 4.22ghz is faster than stock i7 965...

37fps is not great at all. I was hoping for 45 but i will have to wait for nvidia to get its act together and fix the software forceware.

i used to have 8800GTS 512 factory OC 730mhz (same as 9800GTX+) and get 35fps on MEDIUM settings.

your ATI 4870, you can play on medium but not VERY HIGH
