How does it happen that actors and extras in roman war films and TV series' (namely HBO's ROME) spend little more than a few months being taught and practicing formations and roman soldier behavior and they nail the scene after a few takes, yet here you have men who devote some or most of their life to reenactment and they cant even get their spacing or march step right in a comparatively (I refer aging to HBO's ROME, the 1st battle) simple maneuver? Any ideas?
