  • That would be a bit annoying to you but sometimes things in backyards can be overlooked and then reconised even though you have had it for a long time, They wouldn't be talking about any other shed, they would be talking about the very big one that you already have, they wouldn't be that silly, it just means that you will have to reduce it's size now that it is known of.

  • @chrisprice2905 Ha ha! Good one Chris.

Yes, they admitted that they knew the existing big shed had been approved years ago.

They just thought there was a new one that the owner had built between his house and the existing "big one" as you called it.

Well, they have finally come to see that the new shed doesn't exist.

    So, that's a relief!

Now we don't even have to "reduce the size" of the invisible shed, which woulda been fun to try to do. :))

  • Finally ...after 85 days, the Council has notified the Owner that they don't intend to pursue enforcement action for constructing the "invisible shed".

    Amazing, isn't it!

  • @7Inform would you mind giving me a photo copy of your letter? I seem to have found myself wrongfully accused at my student residence dorm at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada, of smoking pot in my room. If I end up getting kicked out I will lose thousands since I've already payed the full, non refundable payment for the whole term. I may have to sue!! I would love to use this as an example in court! If you read this and oblige then thank you so much.

  • It's now 80days and counting (7 March)... since the Sarina Owner sent his letter to Council advising them to lift their "Show Cause Notice", because he hasn't built an illegal shed.

The shed is invisible! It doesn't exist!

Phileas Fogg could have floated around the world in 80 days, with Jules Verne ...but the Council can't seem to bring itself to remove this ridiculous notice from the Owner for this "invisible shed", in all of 80 days!

    How bizarre is that?!

  • It's now 77 days (4 March) and still counting...

All the King's horses and all the King's men ...and even the King's solicitor ...still can't work out that the "invisible shed", doesn't exist.

The $166,500 "Show Cause Notice" still hasn't been removed, off the Owner's neck.

  • It's now 73 days and counting (Sunday 28 February) ...I wonder what Monday will bring?

Hopefully, good news, and the lifting of this bizarrre Council, Show Cause Notice for the "invisible shed"!

  • ...it's now 70 days, and counting ...since the owner sent a letter advising the Council, that the "invisible shed" in their "Show Cause" Notice, doesn't exist.

But, still the Council hasn't been able to see clearly, to remove the "Show Cause" Notice from off the owner of the property.

Might have to call in a professional optometrist, to help with the Council Officers' inspection of the "invisible shed".

  • Here's an email that I have received from:

"mrsange08" making a comment on "Council Abuse of Authority!!!":

"Tell them you've taken it down & they might go away. In fact if you advertise it in the Pocket Trader you might get good money for it.

After all, not everyone has a invisible shed!!"

Heh heh! Yes. Good one Mrs Ange.

As shown in this video, we've even had an Officer come down and confirm that "Yes, there is no invisible shed, here."

So, why don't they lift the Notice?

  • @7Inform Remember the Monty Python funny skit about "Arthur 'two sheds' Jackson"?

That was so funny, even though it was fictional.

Imagine what the Monty Python team would have done to this "invisible shed" true story, in Sarina?

  • @7Inform Catch the humourous Monty Python skit about "Arthur '2 Sheds' Jackson" at:

  • Imagine getting a "Show Cause" Notice in the mail from your local Regional Council, Qld, stating that Council Officers have seen you building a new unapproved shed, when you haven't built a shed.

Imagine the Council demanding that you remove the invisible shed off your property, immediately or else be fined up to $166,500!!!

That's the real life story in this video.
