  • i'm smilin' geekin' so hard on this right now

  • holy smokes! i have'nt heard a band like that since...since...,since...!

  • They 're coming to my town on August 19 can't freakin wait

  • damn high E's.. i break em playin this song too :)

  • @thrustobot22 it wasnt his E string that broke though. If you look closely, you can see it was the D string

  • wow !~ WOW!

  • Holy shit MMJ's music is like sex for ears!

  • Can get enough of this live recording. WOW!

  • now this is good music

  • I originally thought the title was some group slang for marihuana-then I read that "Okonokos" was...then I just figured they both were-uh, are...

  • @liquidmotion10 I would recommend listening to his drumming a little closer. Anything from Evil Urges is so far in the pocket it's ridiculous. Also, this song doesn't need Neil Pert-esque drumming. What he lays down on this one is perfect for the song. And as far as this bands rhythm section, they are just as tight as Bonham and JPJ. I absolutely love it.

  • One of my favourites live bands, great...

  • up it to 480p, sounds much much better

  • It's not about the drummer.it's about the band as a whole.they are a solid unit.they write great songs.they put on a spectacular live show.what more do you want? If u wanna hear a technical drummer,go listen to some jojo Mayer.otherwise, shut the fk up.mmj rules.period.

  • I have yet to hear something by this band that just blew me away. I don't understand why people seem to worship them so much.

  • @olesne how in the world can you hate that album?!

  • MMJ's music ages like fine wine

  • God it's refreshing to see a band perform like this these days. Seems like so many modern rock bands are so concerned with looking cool and edgy that they either don't feel their own music at all or use contrived overdone stage antics to fake it. This is genuine energy, this is rock and fucking roll.

  • one person is satan.

  • Rumor is that it's about a monkey. :)

  • It just hit me! "Mahgeetah" = "My Guitar"! Duh!

  • Love at first listen. Everything about this song is perfection.

  • jim james looks like sammy hagar with no sunglasses

  • Can't get over how fucking good Patrick Hallahan is...

  • @bencc93 he keeps good time...but what's so incredible about him?

  • @liquidmotion10 Well he keeps excellent time and that’s the single most important thing a drummer is supposed to do, other than that I think he is one of the most creative, versatile, skilful drummers in the world right now. He has absolutely excellent technique and he is so so original, you don’t see many drummers with such original style as he has these days. Most of all his drumming always always compliments the music perfectly. He also has an EXCELLENT band to drum for!

  • @bencc93 I disagree. He's just playing straight-time rock. He does have good technique and good time, but you're not going to find anything less than that in a professional group. You should check out Jon Fishman.

  • @liquidmotion10 I'm not necessarily talking about this performance alone, I'd urge you to keep an ear out for him throughout his work with MMJ. Besides i've never thought there was anything wrong with the simpler beats, i just think he has the ability to make them his own... I will look up Jon Fishman thanks!

  • @bencc93 I can see your point there. I'll be sure to check out more of him.

  • at 5:06 J J sounds like Lennon . awesome and refreshing

  • Now that's how you end a rock'nroll show.

  • This looks like a fucking blast

  • FIRST ROW CMAC.

  • YEAH KENTUCKY!! When people ask me why I'm proud to come from a state known for fired chicken, I say "Horses, accents, and my morning jacket"

  • these guys just plain and simple fucking rock

  • This was an incredible album. I hated Z.

  • Best 10 bucks i ever spent

  • watch it entire okonokos in my chanel!

  • I just got okonokos and was wondering how they put in backing vocals for a lot of their songs, live or for the dvd?

  • This is the first MMJ song I ever heard. The start of a great relationship.

  • same here, it is absolutely unreal

  • definately a solid introduction to this great band

  • @derbyzdad mine was lay low.. and i was like "holy shit what is this??" instantly hooked

  • Me too!! I heard "It Still Moves" and fell in love!

  • This has got to be the best live performance of any song i have ever seen.

  • I fucking love the drummer, look at him. legend

  • yeah I agree with you there

  • same. i got okonokos a month before seeing them live. im craving my next fix now. 2010 baby. year of the jacket.

  • are there any tour plans? i wanna see them so bad

  • Jim James is the voice of rock-n-roll.

  • WTF ... they are top 3 band in my heart

  • Jim James broke a string on this one.

    Great song!

  • never gets old... acutally, i think it just gets better and better.

  • Legendary

  • That idiot needed to put that mask down so the camera got a good back-row shot. Also the crowd there did not compare to the rowdy crowds in Louisville (their hometown), Nashville (where they got their start), and Chicago. But PERFECT none the less.

  • epic.
