I know nothing about how his techniques would be useful in a "real" swordfight or what others were arguing about, though his speed and reflexes would be more than useful in any combat situation. This guy reacts and moves faster than most of us reach "s*it, something has just hit me..." state.

By the way, his name implies he is hungarian - I haven't found anything related on the net (though I would lie to say, I searched seriously, I don't care about it that much...).

He should wear the saya (scabbards) for those swords... why just put them on the ground? If the saya would limit his mobility in the jumps and flips... wouldn't that imply feasibility of the movements with a sword : ) Saya is an important part of the sword :)

Marc is the current ISKA champion. ISKA and NASKA arent the same. The nighttime show is specifically ISKA, to where Marc is called up to defend his title. Kalman is the new champ, so next year, win or lose, he'll be on stage for nighttime finals to defend his title.

It was interesting the way the whole thing went... Matt won extreme forms, durbin won musical--marc was shut out. Then Matt won the NASKA grands saturday afternoon. But they put Marc on stage for the ISKA that night, and he won that.

there was a lot of that actually. huor made ISKA grands, and I don't think he even competed individually. sportmartialarts says he made it b/c he won bluegrass... and ryan wells was up there, but he was shut out of NASKA grands. That ISKA thing is like its own little universe. Seems pretty arbitrary who goes up there.
